“Faultless! Don’t think about staying anywhere else in Polizzi Generosa”

Fantastic property, exceptionally well refurbished and decorated. So many nice touches, from original artwork and antique curios through to underfloor heating. Eating in the downstairs Bistrot is not to be missed, the menu highlighting local delicacies prepared to a high standard.

Very helpful owner who was there to meet me . Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on mondays but he recommended other places which was useful. Great location and peaceful. I was hiking the Via dei Frati so a great place to stay with everything you might need locally

The room is spacious, quiet and dark. Bed is comfortable. The room is nice than it shows on the booking pictures. The host was very relaxed and friendly. The best part is the restaurant downstairs owned by the same guy. very authentic. Polizzi Generosa is a super small, cute village on the top of a hill with beautiful views all around. Perfect base for hiking in the area.

The Owner is incredibly nice and competent and the food in his bistro very very good! Tha bathroom and shower are very pretty and everything is clean. The furniture and style are very elegant but also very welcoming. We would come again any time.

Stefano was kind and friendly- the whole stay felt relaxed and easy. And the bed- so comfortable! Don’t miss going to the bistrot downstairs; the food is exceptional; hearty and delicious.

“Great accommodation, restaurant and host.”

The accommodation comprised two linked double rooms with a shared bathroom. It was located above the restaurant, which provided food of excellent quality and great value. We used it on two nights and would definitely recommend it. Stefano spoke excellent English and explained what all the dishes on the menu comprised.

We got a huge room (actually 2 rooms) that had 3 beds. Newly renovated. Best bathroom with plenty hot water in no time. Stefano, the owner who is also a chef, gave us a superb dinner in the bistro downstairs. True Sicilian menu. Stefano also arranged a street parking next to the B&B.

I lead Exclusive Sicily Tours and I am always looking for awesome places all over Sicily. Baroon Bistrot is a sweet B&B in the center of town. I love the way it's decorated (with excellent taste) and it's squeaky clean. What's important to me is location, cleanliness, food, and service. Baroon Bistrot hits the mark on every single one. The really nice owner, Stefano, was born and raised in Polizzi Generosa and after being abroad for several years, came back to his roots. I LOVE it when Sicilians come back to Sicily and invest and believe in Sicily. He opened a B&B and downstairs has a restaurant since he is a Chef 👩‍🍳. Delicious 🤤 food with local ingredients. A couple sitting next to us was telling me they drove 2 hours just to have dinner there and that they do this very often. It’s their favorite restaurant. Stefano provides beautiful itineraries! Picking Chestnuts 🌰 , wild mushrooms 🍄, cooking 🥘 classes, visiting farms to see how they make fresh ricotta cheese 🧀 and olive 🫒 oil. And you get to stay in his B&B. This is as authentic as it gets. This is Sicily. Highly recommend this B&B for anyone staying in Polizzi Generosa or surrounding areas.
