“A stay to remember.”
You have to take the name of the accommodation literally: Guest room of the upholsterer (or carpet maker): Many of the textiles on the wall, floor or furniture are made by the owner himself. Next to it, an exciting smorgasbord of furniture and decorative objects, as well as a wine press vat of three cubic metres carved into the stone in the courtyard. A swarm of bees as a welcome. The bees were not interested in us, however, but in the honeycombs in the beekeeper's studio that had not yet been spun. It was also amazing how the charm of the old buildings was preserved despite comfortable furnishings.Very exciting, and together with the courteous owner (the upholsterer was on his way), who served freshly prepared galettes in the morning, a special overnight experience.
