Stay in a magnificent Hunter Valley homestead with views to the Brokenback Ranges and surrounding Hunter Valley vineyards. Vinden Estate is one of the Hunter Valley wine country’s most admired properties. Based on 1840s early Victorian architecture, the homestead boasts understated style and elegance. It features external stonework walls, 10 ft ceilings, two marble bathrooms, two open fireplaces, large dining and lounge areas, and French doors that open out to one of the most spectacular views in the area. The Hunter Valley residence overlooks 10 acres of premium vineyard. A swimming pool, courtyard, olive grove and lush gardens are set upon 25 acres of park-like grounds, completing one of the finest country estates in this region, and earmarking a destination that represents perfect relaxation. There are 3 king bedrooms and 3 queen bedrooms - the east side of the homestead has one king bedroom with ensuite, one queen bedroom, one king bedroom and one vanity. The west side of the homestead has two queen bedrooms, one king bedrooms and one separate bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Plus, we’re dog-friendly. A fully equipped country kitchen and pantry is at your disposal, as is the laundry, 2 marble finished bathrooms, a separate toilet / vanity, spacious lounge and dining areas, swimming pool & BBQ.

“Beautiful estate, however lacked strong aircon for the house and cellar door.”
The estate was beautiful. The home was beautifully designed with a lovely kitchen. We also liked the wine tasting cellar being next door, but the main tasting room lacked aircon.

“Vinden Estate is a generously proportioned homestead, perfect for groups.”
The bedrooms were all generously sized and split into two wings which allowed for privacy as we were travelling as two family groups. The kitchen was especially well equipped. The views of the vineyard were spectacular.

“What an exceptional house.”
What an exceptional house. Huge for a group of 8 travelling for a weekend in the vineyards, large comfortable bedrooms (and 3 king beds) and lots of living space so we could spread out, or stay close as we pleased. Lovely pool. We started with a wine tasting at the Cellar Door on the first afternoon, a great way to kickstart the weekend. Angus was great with communication prior to arrival with suggestions.
