“Soooo good”

We had an amazing time in the Mountains View! It's so serene and peaceful. You can actually see the mountains from there! The beautiful and huge lake is only 3 mins walk from the hotel (I highly recommend you rent a boat there!) and you can reach the buzzing part of the Lakeside within 15 mins, which I personally find quite noisy and not cozy to stay in, but it's good for shopping. For breakfast, we just loved Juicery, which is 8 mins walk away - delicious smoothie bowls and sourdough bread breakfast options (Avo Smash is my personal favourite)! The hosts are very friendly, sweet and flexible. You can have your laundry done.

Dhiraj was the most accommodating & welcoming owner of any place i have ever stayed. From before I left Ireland he had WhatApp me etc. Kept an eye on my flights (rain storms). When I got there I hadn't a clue where I was going as I planned on doing the ABC solo- he sorted me with maps on my phone and even went over a route with me. Its the time and interest he gave that I am so appreciative for. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Thank you Dhiraj and family xxx

Very calm and nice atmosphere

The room was spacious. The property has a lot of flora and fauna. It has a free loggage storage for its guest. The hot water was hot and the ac was working. Dhiraj and his family are very warm and helpful. The property is neatly tucked away inside a street so it doesn’t have noise issues. Has a very local thakali place next to it, that serves very affordable and delicious food.

I had such a lovely stay at this place From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely comfortable. The place itself is super cute and cozy, with a homely vibe that makes you feel relaxed right away. A special mention to the manager, Dhiraj, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. He went out of his way to assist me with making permits and made the whole process so much easier and stress free. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality, and it really made a big difference to my experience. The views from the property were absolutely amazing waking up to such beautiful scenery was definitely a highlight. And the best part is that it’s very budgetfriendly, which makes it even more worthwhile. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, affordable, and charming stay with great service. I’d definitely love to come back again

“Best Budget Lake Side Hotel”

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Mountain Lake View. The cleanliness was excellent—rooms were neat, well-maintained, and had a fresh, comfortable atmosphere. The staff behavior was also very impressive; everyone was polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is a big plus, offering beautiful lake and mountain views that make the stay even more relaxing. Overall, it’s a great place for both comfort and scenery. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Great property, host was super nice and welcoming even going out of the way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

Everything was good for my one night stay. Had hot water in the room, the bed is comfortable and clean, nice well maintained garden, the people are nice, they can arrange anything for you. The host arranged the airport pick up, a taxi tour to pumdikot and also well equipped to help with bus/plane booking.

Spacious property with a garden and parking space. Noise free and extremely friendly staffs.

“Beautiful balcony & peaceful setting”

Very pleasant stay here at Hotel Mountain view. Clean, good service, good value, very friendly people. They helped us book our bus out of Pokhara & even arranged to send a bag for us to Kathmandu. You can also arrange tours and treks with them. Quick and efficient laundry service. We had amazing views from our balcony of the himalayas. The location is ideal. It’s close enough to walk to the centre but also relatively quiet. Close to a park with lovely views of the lake. The setting is beautiful with a lovely garden. Thank you for everything.

“Simple”

I heard about this place from a YouTube video, and knew what to expect. The facilities are basic but the room was clean and the size for the price was exceptional. Dhiraj, the owner, was fantastic to deal with. Responsive through WhatsApp, and he was able to hook a friend up with another room on short notice.

Nearby the centre area and the staffs are super friendly to guide us around

The location of the hotel from where we can see the majestic view of Mt.Macchapuchre along with other Himalayan ranges is a plus for me. In addition, the staff were welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed a lot during my stay.

“Amazing sunset from Nirmal Pokhari view point!”

Very helpful owner who suggested interesting places to visit, like Shiva Temple (1 min. away from Hotel) and provided a ride to Nirmal Pokhari view point (30 min away). Which is an amazing place to observe sunset over Pokhara! I really recommend that ride if available!
