We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! You can feel the love and pride the host, Sanja, has for the house, especially knowing her father built it — it made our experience even more special. The house and the garden were both stunning and so well cared for. The host was incredibly generous, welcoming us with freshly made traditional cake and even three dozen eggs, which was a thoughtful touch! They were always available whenever we needed help or suggestions, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. We felt at home and are already looking forward to returning next year.

Great host, nice and clean traditional house, well equipped with all you need. There is a big yard behind the house, traditional tools are exposed almost like in a small museum. It's quiet, a good place to relax.

This was an amazing expérience, the host was so welcoming, with beer, sparkling water and fresh organic eggsand vegetables in the kitchen for you to make your breakfast. Absolutely amazing, worth the detour on my trip, Absolutely the best bang for the buck.

The house is like from a fairy tale. There are 2 separate bedrooms on the ground floor. A large and well-equipped kitchen is in the basement. The house has a terrace, a barbecue area and a huge garden. The owners are very pleasant and caring. They gave us homemade cake, eggs and vegetables. If you need to do some shopping, there is a grocery store and a bakery nearby.

We found an exceptional accommodation: clean, welcoming with a fully equipped kitchen. A clean room and bathroom with excellent linens. The owners Luka Maria and her daughter Sonia even welcomed us by bringing us fresh water, eggs from their chickens and two fresh beers. And not only that..... they spoiled us by making us find delicious cakes made by Luka Maria's wife every day. Thanks so much and we highly recommend. “Beautiful unique home in quiet traditional village.”

Everything. This is a beautiful gem in a quiet setting. Luka carved every aspect of the home over a period of 11 years, and it is simply gorgeous. The hosts are extremely welcoming, humble, and generous. We were welcomed with 2 boxes of fresh eggs from their hens, homemade cake, and 4 beers. They had fresh local honey on the side, and coffee supplies waiting. There are two well stocked local shops within 5 minutes walk, open every day til 9pm, and a couple of local bars too. This is a true hidden gem for anyone looking for a unique, peaceful, beautiful getaway.

We loved staying in a traditional style house which had been rebuilt with modern services by the owner over a period of 11years. He also made the furniture including marquetry tables. There was a collection of traditional tools for interest.

“Beautiful, quiet and authentic retreat”

I really liked everything and would come back in a bit. The hosts were extremely welcoming, always making sure I had everything I needed and more. The property is in a very quiet village, surrounded with beautiful woods. Perfect getaway from everything. House has wonderful furniture, is clean and new. I loved the terrace and authenticity of the property. The kitchen had everything and the host brought some homemade pastry. I really didn't expect that. They treated me as a family member. Thank you so much for everything and all the love.

I've never experienced such warm and welcoming people. The hosts were so generous and wonderful. The accommodation was traditional and beautiful and everything you need. The house is the dream of the owner built by their own hands its a hidden gem of outstanding craftsmanship. We had a a great few days here, we only wish we could have spoken Croatian to tell the hosts how amazing it was.
