The grounds of the property are beautiful, the location is very quiet and romantic. The food was very nice and the staff friendly and welcoming. The owner let us have a later checkout on a short notice.

“I only recommend this place if you are passing by it. It is not a destination to come to specifically for this castle.”
It was an interesting experience. The old movies and songs all across the castle was a great memory of the past. Not everyone’s cup of tea. You either love it or hate it.

Second stay- warm welcome!! You feel like on a time travel - into times when grace and politeness was widely spread- food was real and slow cooked, furniture and style had personality - and swing was ruling the music world.

“A silent movie star experience”
This hotel is really wonderful and poetic with a vivid personality. We discovered only once arrived that each room is dedicated to silent movie era celebrities from Czech Republic. During the day the wonderful music of that time enhance the beauty and charm of the castle. There is even a daily recurring event in which they show a movie in this fashion from their personal collection in the dining area (it's at 6.30 p.m.). We sadly didn't manage to join this ritual because we arrived late in the night and had to go away the morning after but we imagine it must be really suggestive. In regards of our late arrival we want to thank the stuff for being so accomodating with us as we arrived quite late in the hotel. The place is really really beautiful, with fine furnishing, a charming architecture, a suggestive garden. The stuff was polite, the breakfast was good and it was quite clean overall. Really a great place, we recommend it.
