NEAR TO THE CENTRE

“Quiet, very convenient, private and overall a feeling of a past age of hotels.”

I have stayed here before. It is right in town and easy to get around. I also like the historic and classical decor. The fresh rye bread at breakfast is wonderful.

I stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel's location is very convenient, and for the price I paid, I found it to be good.

Spacious and tidy room, excellent location, private indoor parking in the city center, and a delicious breakfast. It was perfect for a weekend stay with my young son. The hotel’s architecture is impressive. Special praise goes to the person taking care of the plants—it was great to see real plants instead of artificial ones, and they all look incredibly healthy.

Atmospheric and spacious. It was very close to xmas market, which was fun. It was easy to get to from train station. The breakfast was good.

Very old hotel in the center of the city. Rooms are very big. Simple breakfast.

Location to the center was A+. Staff upon check in were great. Super huge rooms with comfortable pillows. Check out at 11am helped.

Close to old town and restaurants. Large spacious rooms. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Beautiful old building and rooms, a little tired now, but it adds to the charm.

Nice charming "old style" hotel in the middle of the city. Not every thing is perfect, but the value is exceptional.

Very central location in a nice historical building. Everything is somehow outdated, which could be seen as negative, but which is also the charm of the hotel. Very spacy room.

“A Geand Hotel - in the padt”

The Slovan must have been a sumptuous, really grand, hotel back in the day. The communal areas are still extremely ornate, but the whole place is dilapidated and in need of a makeover. That would no doubt entail enormous expenditure, which is probably not feasible. It was an experience to stay here and imagine what it was like in the past, but if I ever come back to Plzen, I won't be staying here again.

“Must visit for retro enthusiast”

The hotel building and the main interiors itself are a masterpiece. It reminds me the Bioshock videogame. So retro in a good way. The lobby, staircase and the breakfastroom is a must see place. Stuff is super friendly and the location is in heart of the old town. Reasonable priced parking lots in backyard.

It was a lovely breakfast and room we stayed in, we appreciated the fact that it was family friendly as our 2 year old son was making a noise whilst playing around in the dining hall.
