“If you want to explore this part of Brittany this is the most amazing place to stay!”
A tranquil and peaceful location in a beautifully renovated house. The room was clean and spacious and the en-suite luxurious, with a shower and a bath. The hosts were really friendly and helpful giving ideas for days out and places to visit. The meals were incredible. Breakfast was different every day with selection of breads, local delicacies, homemade jams and fresh eggs from their own chickens. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts were always on hand without being intrusive. The three course evening meal was outstanding! All freshly prepared from their own produce and local ingredients. The fish and seafood were incredible. There was also a good selection of aperitifs and wines, all reasonably priced. We were on our own for the first three nights and even when there were other guests there is plenty of space with a lounge and huge kitchen to use as well as outside seating. You can help yourself to hot drinks and use the fridge/freezer. To be able to sit in the private jacuzzi after an active day was a wonderful bonus; bath robes were even provided! The local area is fascinating and there are lots of places of interest very near; the pink granite coast is spectacular. This really is a hidden gem and if you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay with brilliant hosts, fantastic food near lots of great places to visit this is where to go!
