“Amazinh hosts and property was in the best location!”

We loved B&B Villa Sumrak from the moment we arrived to the day we departed. Marko and Mat were fantastic hosts, giving us all the information prior to arrival, helping us with their local knowledge to enjoy the national park which was spectacular and then host an amazing dinner with some beautiful croatian wines. We would happily recommend to others and felt it was the perfect accommodation in the perfect location. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Perfect location, superb food.

We spent 2 lovely nighs at the sumrak B&B and would highly recommend. Communication in advance of our arrival was great, we received a very warm welcome and were shown to an immaculate and very beautifully clean room, with ample space for our family. We were visiting the plitvica national park and was given a map with very detailed instructions of a good route to follow, which was so helpful. Breakfast was fab too and my Son enjoyed playing board games with Marko. We like to explore new places and stay off the beaten track and this certainly was a hidden gem, thank you for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay at BNB Villa Sumrak Rooms and would happily return again if we visit Plitvice in the future. It’s a beautiful, small, quaint property surrounded by peace and nature, exactly the kind of stay you want while visiting Plitvice Lakes. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location near Entrance 3 of the national park. Even if you have tickets for Entrances 1 or 2, you can still enter through Entrance 3, which is fantastic because you avoid the heavy crowds and begin your visit from the upper lakes area, a much calmer and very beautiful way to experience Plitvice. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful throughout. They shared the dinner menu with us well in advance so we could place our order ahead of time, and the meal was absolutely delicious. The entire stay felt peaceful, comfortable, and very welcoming. A lovely property for anyone looking for a quieter and more relaxed Plitvice experience.

“Beautiful rooms, beautiful views.”

Beautiful rooms, look almost brand new. Comfy beds, the bathroom had a walk in shower. The room was equipped with everything you need and/or want. The dinner menu sounded wonderful but we ended up overstaying in the park so had to miss out but the breakfast the next morning was great! Too many things to name but everything you want. Eggs were made to order, anything they would run low on was instantly restocked.

We were well located, we could walk to the sightseeing attraction 😊 The staff were super friendly and personal and communications excellent. Lovely room with pleasant park outlook. Modern facilities and new. Restaurant dinner was excellent, especially the local trout.

“Wonderful”

The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. We loved the smell of the burning stove during the evening. Quiet! Bedding was great. The baking and pasta was great. The staff were knowledgeable, kind....and attractive.
