“Feels like home”
We had the most wonderful stay — it truly felt like home, something we didn’t realize how much we missed until we experienced it here. The apartment was spotless and always smelled like fresh lavender, which was such a lovely touch. Breakfast and dinners were absolutely delicious, all organic and clearly made with so much love. They kept calling us “my ladies” which made us smile every time, haha! The rooms were beautiful, and the hot tub was the cherry on top — so relaxing. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone around us. Thank you for everything auntie Irene and Uncle Damir!

“A comfortable overnight stay to visit Lake Plitvice NP”
Really lovely room and well equipped and appointed. Didn’t use the spa as it was within view of the diners- but it would have been fun.

“Great host, beautiful bedroom with private jacuzi, and very close to the Lakes”
Irena is a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable throughout the stay. She also gave us great tips on how best to explore the Plitvice Lakes and on a rainy day, suggested we go to Rastoke, which was quite a suprise. The breakfast in bed was well thought of and we had a great time. The Jacuzzi was fantastic and well maintined.

“Location close to the park”
Great location only 10-15 mns drive from entrance one, nice studio appartment l, there. Is a little kitchenette with fridge and stove. A few resteurants nearby. The hists were very friendly .

Our stay was perfect from the beginning to the end - it was a last minute booking for one night. All was super efficient in term of communication, keys, accomodation ect. Damir, Irene and their son are beyond lovely people and will do anything to make your stay as confortable as it can be. Full of local knowledge and provide an outstanding breakfast... The accommodation is spacious, clean, sustainable, done with the heart rather than fast tourism. We actually stayed longer and highly recommend for anyone to have a pleasant break there.

“A place to return to ❤️”
Everything was amazing! We are so grateful for the lovely time spent there! None of us wanted to leave, even the teen. The house is sparkling clean, very comfortable and the hosts are super friendly and kind. Irene’s cooking is simply magical! If you go, make sure to try her dinners. We’ll be back for sure!

“The best!”
I would give 11 if that will be possible. Excellent stay. Cozy, spacieus apartments, amazing hosts, excellent food (barbecue) and wine. Plus jacuzzi :) Like it was great three days in Plitvice area for us. Irene and Damir are the best!

“Amazing!”
Villa Irene was the perfect place to conclude our honeymoon. Very close to Plitvice National Park, but still in a quiet area to relax. The room was big and comfortable and the jacuzzi was a plus. The food cooked by Irene was very tasty and made us experience home made food as we were in a Croatian home and the husband Damir was very nice and helpful with advices. We would go back!
