Overview
Bayside Lodge Garden Route B&B is situated 3-minutes' walk from Robberg Beach in Plettenberg Bay. It features a swimming pool and a garden with patio. Free WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge. Each of the elegantly decorated rooms features a garden view. It comes equipped with a satellite TV, a minibar and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Guests receive gowns and snack baskets in each room. Every bathroom has a shower and free toiletries. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the patio overlooking the garden and pool. A number of restaurants serving a range of cuisines can be found within walking distance of Bayside and taxi services can be arranged. The guest lounge features a fireplace and under-floor heating, creating just the right setting to relax with a book. Beach towels, umbrellas and beach games are provided for guests to use during their stay. The Robberg Nature Reserve is situated 5 km from the property and the Plettenberg Bay Airport is a 9-minute drive away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bayside Lodge. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They took the time to explain the surrounding area to us, gave us great tips, and genuinely cared about our well-being throughout our stay. You could truly feel how much they wanted their guests to feel comfortable and at home. The service ladies were also very kind and sweet. They were always friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Their warm attitude made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily come back again.

We liked every aspect, every detail of the lodge. Especially the owners Adrienne and Bernie, who were absolutely fabulous. I work in the tourism industry myself and now the difference lies in the details and this wat stood out, the eye for detail in every aspect.

We loved everything about our stay at Bayside Lodge - from the location, to the room, to the facilities, to Adrienne and Bernie who are the amazing hosts and owners ...and special mention of Precious too! Nothing was too much trouble, and Bernie was always ready to pull out a map and show us routes to take and suggestions of things to do. I would really recommend staying at Bayside Lodge to anyone travelling to Plett.

Laundry service available on same day (if you give it in the morning)- is very good and helpful. Staff is very friendly and helps with sightseeing or restaurants. Room is very clean, spacious bathroom. Bed is comfortable.

Spacious room and lovely garden/ pool area to relax. Great amenities and super clean. Amazing host who made us feel very welcome and gave us great recommendations for hikes. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants, rather than having to take a taxi everywhere. Easy walk also to the nearby beach.

“Close to the beach”
It was a blast staying with Adrienne and Bernie. The house and the room had erverything you need and wish for when on vacation in Plett. The rooms were very comfy. Very close to the beach. The hosts had a lot of information for our trips and helped with the planning. We even got our clothes washed and dried for a few rand.
