Really nice place to stay at Playa Negra. The host was a pretty cool guy who helped us with everything, including finding a transportation alternative back to San José as our shuttle got canceled. He was always friendly and told us a few cool stories about his life. He also had some good advices of where to surf and we had the opportunity to get a mountainbike. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a refrigerator and a coffee machine. He gave us the coffee for every morning. Macarena, the dog of the place, was really cute and friendly, too. A supermarket and the beach could be reached within a few minutes. The beach was nearly empty, so it was really relaxing. I can really recommend this place!

Great location & facilities! Very cute dog! Aldo is very helpful with local recommendations for surf & food. He also took us mountain biking.

The place is very relaxing, quiet and fresh. Aldo and his brother Coco are really nice people. Aldo has many bikes so you can have a ride with him. That’s amazing if you like mountain biking and going into the jungle. The place is very good located. There are many good restaurants less than 5 minutes away. Some of the best restaurants in the area. Playa Negra beach is also like 5 minutes away and close many other beaches. I highly recommend staying here if you really want to enjoy a peaceful place.
