Splendid view of the patio, pool, ocean, and sunsets from our balcony. In-room coffee best we've ever had--natch! It's CR coffee! The bed was very comfortable and we had more than ample closet and dresser space. The curtains blocked out the very bright sunshine in the morning and if kept closed, will block out the day's heat. The shower stall design is great. We always had warm water, showering later in the day when solar-heated water is available. The transportation to the beach was convenient, regular, and prompt. Beach is great and there are convenient bars & restaurants close by. We are afternoon beachgoers, able to score VS hotel loungers every day we were there (7 days). We especially appreciated the happy hour perfectly timed for the evening sunset and Melvin Z.'s⭐️ prompt and joyful service, remembering our favourite cocktails every night. The hotel, restaurant, and bar personnel were very accommodating with coffee every morning, often same server remembering how we like it, and lots of juices (try the pineapple-mint!) to choose from. We arrived late, 9:30, our first night. Knowing we hadn't eaten (late flight), they kept the restaurant open for us. The restaurant manager, Dayanna Z.H.⭐️, stayed so that the employees could catch their bus. We thought this was very thoughtful. If not for these people (front desk, restaurant, bar) working together as a team, we would have gone to bed hungry because no restaurants in the area stay open past 10pm. We had the breakfast meal plan and took advantage of a variety of local restaurants for evening meals, none of which disappointed us. Breakfast selections changed daily and the omelette station is popular for a reason--yum! I wouldn't bother eating the pancakes--taste like corn, not wheat flour--and that's NOT 🍁maple syrup [I work in a sugar bush. I know.]

Nice and close to the beach, easy to get around with the transportation but walking for us was easy enough too. Friendly and helpful staff

The Hotel is very bad, only i restaurant in the whole resort, and there are 100+ flied in the restaurant, flied anywhere and stayed on the bowls, plates, fruits. So we left to go out for meal for the 2 days. very bad and do not go there.

Breakfast buffet in the terrace is a fantastic experience with ocean views, healthy food, and kind service of personal;the pools and jacuzzis are excellent; the pool bartender is a friendly and good mix drink guymaking the best effort

The location is great, a bit uphill to walk but there is always a transport around the villas available. The hilly setup of the villas offers views and privacy. The food was not extremely impressing but tasty enough. We liked the cocktails a lot!

The view from the hotelroom as well as the Villa and restaurant was phenomenal. The Villa was very spacious and clean. The restaurant staff was very accomodating to prepare ad hoc Kid friendly dishes. The shuttle service throughout the property and to the beach was great. Free kayaks&paddleboards at the beach were a plus!

Beautiful location, kind people, great food. For an easy couple of days arriving in Costa Rica, it is great. I also loved that there were lots of Costa Rican folks vacationing there too.
