“poor”

To start with Sweet Dreams does not exist other than in your brochures, the complex name is 'Vina del Mar'. We paid £46 for a taxi, who did not turn up, we waited for one hour which was a really bad start as we traveled with 2 teenagers (11 and 12 years) who had been up since 8.30 am to get to the airport, waiting there and 4 hours and 30 minutes flight!! After one hour we decided to book another taxi after booking.com's advice (we did get a receipt: 50 Euros). For your information these prices are a rip-off: When we took a taxi to the airport for the return flight it was 26 Euros and subsequent trips were 30 Euros, 27 Euros and 27 Euros. I want £100.00 compensation for this or I will not longer use booking.com I could not rate the staff as we just saw the garden staff when they cleaned the pool and the odd cleaner in the corridors, no sign throughout of the management, there was a reception but was always unmanned. The side of the apartments looked more like a prison camp rather than a holiday resort. One of the kids unplugged her charger and it came of the wall; we sent a message and the solution was: do not use it and put the settee in front of it. The Wi-Fi was poor and only seemed to work near the balcony. From the pictures and promised facilities there was a restaurant and shop within the complex, there was a restaurant nearby called Don Carlos, we tried it on the first day, we never went back, the shop was 100 meters down the road. It was not like hell but it was not heaven either.

There was no breakfast. The apartment was clean and had all the appliances that could be expected.

Wonderful location! Restaurants,beach and supermarkets are close walking distance from the apartment. Bus station really near by. Enjoyed relaxing at the ocean water pool at the residence was great.

The complex is clean and safe, with a convenient location. The manager, Vanessa, is extremely friendly and helpful. The pools are filled with salty ocean water and are serviced every morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary — spices, oil, salt, sugar, and more. We were left two laundry capsules, which was enough for us. The beach bag with towels, sunscreen, and a hat is a wonderful example of thoughtful care — thank you.
