Overview
The Corallium Dunamar by Lopesan Hotel, recently refurbished, is 200 metres from Playa del Inglés Beach, in southern Gran Canaria. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it features an outdoor pool complex. Set in a modern, pyramid-shaped building, the Dunamar Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. The minibar and safe can be rented, and most rooms have a private balcony. Regional and international cuisine is offered in the hotel restaurant, and there are 2 poolside snack bars. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the lively Yumbo Centre. Maspalomas Dunes are 20 minutes’ walk from the hotel, and Maspalomas Golf Course is 2 km away.

“Amazing”
Clean amazing staff, beautiful terrace and towels provided. There is a shower room to book once you have checked out and can still use amenities. A gate to access the beach which is literally across the road. Rock band was also great on Friday nights.

“For carnaval”
I was very disappointed with the overall quality of this hotel. The service was very poor, with rude and unhelpful staff, starting at the reception. The only positive aspect was the bar waitresses and some members of the restaurant staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room conditions were also unacceptable. There was a leak in the bathroom, and the shower drain was clogged, causing flooding every time we used it. In addition, the bathroom had a very strong urine smell, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. I also found it very negative that certain areas of the hotel could only be accessed by paying extra fees. The food variety was very limited and very repetitive. I have been travelling to Playa del Inglés for about 15 years and I always like to try different hotels. Out of all the places I have stayed, this is the only hotel that has left me truly dissatisfied. I will definitely not return.

“A great hotel but not quiet”
The hotel itself is very nice, with friendly staff, good food and a really great pool area. We upgraded to Unique which was well worth it.

“Exceptional Playa del Ingles hotel”
Exceptional hotel. Brilliant location - above the beach, with views over the sea and the famous Dunes - close to loads of bars and restaurants. 3 pools, plenty of room to relax. Lovely bars. Very comfortable room with very comfy bed, a great shower and an awesome sea view. Also, the Unique room meant more exclusive facilities, especially the daytime snack bar - plenty of prosecco.

“The best hotel in the area”
The best hotel in the area. We really enjoyed our stay — an excellent hotel with friendly and professional staff, a perfect location for the beach, shopping, and relaxation, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Very imaginative architecture — the pools and terraces on different levels were fantastic, and the views of the ocean from them were truly worth it. We’ll be happy to come back again.
