“Great friendly hotel out of the main town”

Yoga each morning and quiet , friendly smaller resort. Half board was good though food was good but not excellent

“Exceptional experience”

Food was expensive, but worth it! Coatis and agoutis added charm to our children, the pool was nice, complimentary free yoga was great!

My stay at Petit Lafitte was nothing short of magical. The beach and ocean view were breathtaking, food was amazing and the staff made me feel at home all the time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen, whether for business or pleasure

This hotel is a true hidden gem. Everything was very well kept. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, and the free yoga classes in the morning added to the whole trip. Not to mention the beautiful massages right on the beach. We went with our 8 months old daughter and it was the perfect choice. Highly recommend it!

“Paradise”

It was a fantastic experience and relaxation. The place is beautiful, right on the beach. The hotel is medium-sized hotel, beautiful bungalows and rooms, family-friendly attentive management, very kind hospitality not the big factory-type accommodation. The food was delicious, everyone was very nice. I would like to highlight our waitress Marianna, who was very attentive to us. The massage on the beach was divine. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the free yoga every morning! The yoga instructor was brilliant, the content of the class was never repeated, even though I participated in it 5 times. This is how I should start all my morning in my dream, with yoga among the palm trees with this lovely lady. I will take this with me and, thanks to her, my New Year's resolution is that I will also do yoga at home. I will miss the palm trees, joga lady and the ocean and this wonderful hotel. Thank you for the whole team for this unforgettable vacation!

Easy on the eyes, green, pretty. Sounds of the nature. Good yoga. Nice sunset spot. We stayed at the bungalow - quite liked it. Breakfast and dinner was included - decent food, some things tasty, some things less so.

“Nice Boutique Hotel directly on the beach”

We stayed in a bungalow at beach front, which we highly recommend to pick, when staying in the hotel. The wind coming from the beach was cooling down the hot days. Bungalows in the far back/jungle might miss this "feature", as we noticed during a short walk. Otherwise we refer to the description/listing, which is very true in respect to pictures etc. Food was very good. We would stay here again. p.s. we are not able to comment the rooms in the main building and refer to other reviews.

“Hidden gem - would return”

This smaller hotel was absolutely beautiful—so much better than the large five-star resorts in Cancun. It had a peaceful, calming vibe that made it perfect for reading, writing, or just relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service felt personal and genuine. There was plenty of shade when needed, but the sun and natural light were just stunning. I especially loved the morning sunrise service—it really set the tone for the day. I met a woman who had stayed there four times, and I completely see why. I wish I had extended my stay—it was such a special place, and I’d definitely go back.

Small hotel, very quiet and cosy. Surrounding space is beautiful, lots of animals around (but not in a scary way) and food in restaurant was very good. Everyone was kind, respectable and friendly with us and our son.

Nice place, spacious and clean room, nice pool, nice beach, attentive staff, awesome breakfast and dinner, really liked that it did not have the large resort vibe.

Beautiful smaller hotel between all the massive hotels. Nice views from the terrace and good food. Breakfast and dinner are not very special but tasty. Lunch options are really nice.

Lovely little hotel, great place to chill out, great staff, decent prices at the bar. You absolutely need a car/taxi. Avenida 5 is about 25 minutes by car (that is not a bad thing, you just need to be aware).
