“Lots to like about this hotel”

There was so much we liked about this hotel, including: -Smaller hotel which was easy to get around. Also, we got to know a number of the staff, so it was more personal -Good range of food and drink on offer, even without upgrading to Privilege. Our favourite was the Italian restaurant. There are also Mexican, French and Teppanyaki restaurants plus a buffet that has theme evenings. You don't pay a cover charge at any of these though they are on a first come, first served basis. The exception is the Teppanyaki restaurant, where you have to go along at 1745 on the day to reserve your space. -There is live entertainment each evening. This seems to be a weekly programme, so if you are there for longer you'll probably see a repeat - We'd highly recommend the Mayan evening held weekly in the Italian restaurant. This does cost extra, but it includes an excellent dinner with wine and a cocktail plus lots of information on the Mayan culture and traditional dances. - Though we're not big drinkers, there is at least one bar open at all times -We loved the variety of wildlife around. Apart from the ubiquitous iguanas and coatis, we also saw raccoons, cereques (a bit like a small capybara) a deer and even a crocodile! Plus numerous birds, including frigate birds and pelicans. -All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay. All the staff were exceptional, from the restaurant staff to the cleaners. The food in every restaurant was superb. The gardens are very well kept and the two pools were great. The small beach in front of the Privilege section was covered with sargassum for much of the time. This was no-one's fault but was a shame. The animals really added to it - coatis, while are incredibly cute, deer, iguanas, etc, without the grounds being overrun by them

Beautiful grounds. Excellent buffet food at all meal times. Very nice private beach. Very nice tennis courts. Staff excellent. Animals were amazing, they should actively promote this!! Very good value for money

“Once but never again”

It's one of the most clean resorts I have stayed in, the food was mostly amazing with a couple of mistakes made but those do happen and we're easy to let go. Steak overcooked, not seasoned, or steak under cooked. Again these rhing happen and didn't impeded my experience. The majority of the other meals made up for it in that they truly were a cut above. The beach was just hit with a large volume of weeds but the staff worked effortlessly to get it cleaned up, and their efforts did show. Staff were amazing and friendly and they really did try hard to make sure everyone was satisfied.

Absolutely fantastic hotel that exceeded our expectations, great and diverse food, many activities, absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Big, well equipped rooms, whole resort is very very clean and well managed. Coffee shop open throughout the whole day - fantastic!

An Incredible hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The staff is really helpful. We were amazed at the variety of food and high-quality drinks. Rooms are cozy and have all the necessary equipment. In addition, the hotel offers lots of activities for every taste ranging from sport ones to evening programs.

“Third visit, better than before - pays to be Privilege...”

Stayed here previously and they've made upgrades - this was our first time as a Privilege guest and the benefits are excellent - I highly recommend the upgrade. Always load of sunbeds in Privilege and the staff were lovely. Big love for Oscar in Privilege Lounge, Jesus at the Beach, Alberto our Butler. The Privilege rooms are at the back of the resort, but not an issue - very clean / tidy - in fact whole resort was very well kept and the staff are constantly working on keeping it that way. The staff really make this place a delight to visit. When we were there it seemed relatively quiet, had a couple of days dodgy weather but didn't matter. Didn't do any of the extra curricular as not our thing. Food generally great (except the Italian - wow, that has gone way downhill). Privilege lounge was delicious. There's a small beach but plenty of sandy areas - what more do you need. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff 10 / 10.

We were delighted with the cleanliness and superb maintenance of the of the whole area. Also we were amazed to see so much of the local fauna having seen deer, raccoon, iguana and coati. Would return to this hotel without a second thought.

The entertainment staff were incredible!! Especially Kenddell who made our holiday, so kind friendly and lovely to be around. The food was lovely too, especially the pizza pool bar freshly cooked!

There are certainly some positives to this hotel. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The grounds were very well maintained, and the large pool was a nice feature.
