“Very average stay in a family resort”
We really enjoyed the outside areas including the pool and the also the beach area. What was super nice is that you are surrounded by the jungle so sometimes you would have monkeys visiting or other animals and this really made it a fun experience.

“Relaxing stay, treated like kings”
The staff really hold this place together and make your stay extra special. The buffet food was fantastic, the themed a la carte we found the mexican and steak house nice, the others were bland and little choice. The location is amazing and perfect for access to xcaret park which you can get a discounted unlimited wrist band. I would not hesitate to book the hotel again, any feedback is minor.

“Terrible”
I didn’t like it at all. The place looks old, neglected, and poorly managed. They tried to fix a few things, but everything feels improvised and careless. The atmosphere is dull, the services are poor, and the organization is disappointing. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

“Excellent.”
Everything. I believe this might be my tenth visit to this hotel in 13 years and it is even better than my memories . Many changes have taken place in this time since it was originally Occidental Grand but although some are small the improvements have increased the appeal of the property. However one of the most important parts of this is the staff who are overall outstanding and make stay so enjoyable. Their attention and helpfulness ensured that we will almost certainly return to the resort when we are able.

The person at the front desk did not explain that every eating place was included, we kept eating at one single location, we didn't expect that you guys meant all included in such a way. It was our first time in a place like this, the front desk guy said didn't really have much time to explain, he suggested to use the QR to find out about the place. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE TECHNOLOGY.

“This place deserves the price it takes”
Best place for stay with kids. The beach is very comfortable. Personal is amazing. Jungles and beach without waves, no insects. Perfect food and good location to visit all parks of Xcaret complex.

“Would stay again for the location”
Location was brilliant, so handy to walk to Xcaret park. Facilities were good and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. Would stay again for the location though!
