“Easy check-in and comfortable stay”

I stayed at Casa Ejido and had a smooth experience overall. I arrived late because I was coming from Xcaret Park, and the host sent me very clear and helpful video instructions for check-in, which made everything super easy. The place is clean and has everything you need. It’s especially convenient if you have a car and want to get around easily. The bed was very comfortable, which I really appreciated.

The bed was very big and confortable.

Our room was very musty and had a strong odor .it was uncomfortable. The kitchen was dimly lit and not very clean .

“Perfect for 5 days of swimming/snorkelling, good sleep and peaceful rest!”

The property is in a quiet area but very quickly we can walk to the shops/beach. Beautiful plants and trees in the grounds. The bed is HUGE and very comfortable, fab shower, everything we need is provided. Staff are helpful and friendly. The location is great for getting to other beaches down the coast, with a hire car. We loved it so much we extended by another 2 days!

“Really nice and quiet apartment hotel”

Very nice little apartment hotel....the room was clean, spacious enough and had a small kitchenette. Staff was very attentive and easy to get in contact with. We liked the location; a bit away from the madness downtown, but within walking distance. There were a bunch of really nice restaurants around the corner and two coffee shops next door where we good our daily dose of caffein.

It was really great. My friends loved the photos of the palapa roof. Although I wasn't on vacation, I can say as someone who has lived in Playa del Carmen 8 months that this is a good location. A main avenue, Benito Juárez, is just a few blocks away. So it is a good location. The internet from my room was 5G and a good signal. I am not sure about other rooms, but I worked all day from my room. The pool and all facilities were clean.

The property was amazing, it's a good price if you are more than one person. You have access to a commune kitchen, bathroom and others.

Nice palapas inside a bigger building. There was a safe and hairdrier. We didn't have time to use common spaces (garden, pool, kitchen) but they seemed very nice. Location was quiet (even though further from the downtown)

“Lovely building; clean; good location”

I stayed for approx 5 days in a triple room in the building on the pool side. The property is actually split across both sides of the road. The palapa building was beautiful. WiFi and aircon worked well. Hot water and pressure was good. Nice white bed linen changed daily if asked. Free water in my room. I liked that the location was a little away from the beach and tourist madness but easily walkable. Supermarket and breakfast options close by. Airport transfer made things convenient. Check in videos were good {but make sure you ask for them beforehand if you’re worried you may not have data}. Reception provided me with a lock for a safe box in my room. The kitchen seemed well-stocked with utensils. They use WhatsApp to communicate with guests, which is a good system.

“A very cosy colonial or Mediterranean type of house”

Good communication with the host via WhatsApp prior to and upon arrival. The check-in instructions sent in advance were very clear. Casa Ejido is a very cosy colonial or Mediterranean type of house where bedrooms are located around a patio with a swimming pool. Our room had a small kitchenette with a fridge and a washbasin. This is very convenient. Apart from that, there is a fully equipped shared kitchen in the common area where there is also a living room, dining area and hammocks. The common area provides a good ppportunity to chat with other travelers. The room is quite spacious, with plenty of space for luggage for two people. There is a mosquito net over the bed. This is a plus, even though we didn’t need it at the beginning of January. Casa Ejido offers a very cosy and silent place to relax after sightseeing or going to the beach. Safe parking on the street. The house is well located for those of you taking a ferry to or from Cozumel: less than 20 minute drive from the ferry terminal.

“Comfy nights a bit off the mainstream places”

Everything! They had a topper!!!! Such a comfy bed! The staff was helpful and forthcoming.

Beautiful room and kind staff with a really great swimming pool. The bed was amazing too. No barking dogs or roosters, which is a big plus in Mexico. I've loved this place. An excellent quality-price ratio

“Wonderful place!”

It is such a cool place! It is very special, the rooms are almost like small cabins inside the house. Nicely decorated, but still functional and comfortable. Bathroom was the best on this trip so far. Nice common area. Not many people when we visited.

Perfect little cabin far from the craziness of downtown PdC but close enough to reach by foot ( about 20 min, we’re walkers)

Everything!! It was so great. Nice cozy apartment with kitchen. Everything super clean. Comfy bed. Working smart TV. 7 mins by car from the main avenue.

“Feels like Mexico”

I was here 12 days after two days on 5th av. Excellent value, clean everything, pool well maintained. Location far enough away from 5th av but close for walk back at night for drinks. Short walk to supermarket(lots wine & beer) plenty of good street food (tacos galore) and small restaurants. Around the corner on main drag small place for breakfast, chorizo omelet rice, beans, tortilla 55 peso. Delicious.

Everything was fine , good communication and helpfull staff . We consider comming back . Great pool and common area . All fine and supercalm for playa del carmen but still central .

Very cozy place with extremely comfy bed.

Great stay. The staff-shout out to Lucas were so very friendly and helpful. Our room was the cabin and we had plenty of space to spread out. Daily maid service kept things tidy. It was fun to be in an actual neighborhood and away from the tourist strip. We rented bicycles from CasaEjido which made getting around the quite convenient. The only things we didn't do was swim in the pool and that was because we weren't back at the hotel during the mid part of the day.
