We stayed at this hotel recently for 3 nights. While some aspects of our stay were nice, there were also some unpleasant surprises we think future guests should be aware of. First, the mini bar issue: there was no price list in the room, nobody told us at check-in that it was chargeable, and the minibar was refilled every day. We even asked the front desk whether it was just for the first day or complimentary. The staff member clearly replied that it would be refilled daily — which naturally made us believe it was included. We even thought “wow, that’s really nice of them.” To make it even more confusing: the night before checkout, reception contacted me on WhatsApp asking if we needed any assistance. I replied that I really enjoyed the minibar nuts, but that we had only eaten the two jars provided at check-in and never had them refilled. I asked if housekeeping could bring two jars before we checked out, so I could take them with me. The staff member happily replied “certainly” without ever mentioning any charge, which reinforced our impression that it was complimentary. At check-out, however, we were suddenly charged €200 for the minibar. This felt extremely misleading and unfair. Second, the pet fee: we were charged €80 per night, per dog, but this was not mentioned at all on Booking.com when we made the reservation. Only at check-in did we find out about it. Interestingly, we later noticed that the fee now appears on the Booking page — which suggests the hotel only added the information after realizing guests had complained. While we respected the rule and paid, such an important cost should be transparent from the very beginning. Because of these extra charges, what originally looked like a €1,158 stay ended up costing us around €1,600 in total. That’s a huge difference, and not what we expected when booking.

Hotel Son Molí Country House is a true gem for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty. The property is set in a stunning, tranquil location with lush gardens and mountain views. My room was charming, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of rustic character and modern comfort. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful — ideal for unwinding. Breakfast was fresh, local, and served in a lovely outdoor setting. A perfect countryside escape that feels both exclusive and homely. Highly recommended!

“Comfortable stay”
Tasty good quality breakfast (eggs could be cooked as you preferred) ; authentic spacious room, bathroom has everything we needed. Beautiful garden and pool area. It was especially comfortable stay for us and our dog. We stayed only 3 nights. Regretted not to stay longer there.
