“Unhelpful staff and very poor communication”

Arrived at hotel to be told there was no room for us. No apology or explanation. Just advised they would be providing a taxi to sister hotel.

Staff were very polite and helpful food was good everything was spotless and we'd definitely go back.

The restaurant was not clean. The plates, glasses, cutlery were dirty several times, the glasses were stained with lipstick. It would be a very good place if it were cleaner.

Super friendly staff, immaculately clean, great choice of food. Reception staff welcoming, bar staff super friendly, waitresses worked hard and gave fantastic service. Really good location within walking distance to the beach shops and multiple bars. Easy bus service within 2 minute walk of the hotel. Airport a short taxi ride away. Really lovely break at this hotel, would definatlely return.

Very friendly staff, nice clean hotel, great location, 5 minute walk to beach and promenade.

Location is Ok, close to everything: beach, shops and clubs.

The room was clean, as was the hotel. The food in the main dining room was mostly nice.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Only 10 mins taxi from airport and a 3 minute walk to beach. Will visit again next year when i can stay longer!

Staying at RIU Playa was amazing. First of all, I would really want to emphasise how nice and responsive people at reception are - they have always tried to help and whenever any issue emerged, they were here to assist. Also, food at the restaurant and the restaurant facilities are impeccable - the variety of options in hard to count. Breakfasts are traditional. As for Lunch and dinner There are always lots of fruit, veggies, pizzas, burgers, pastas (2-3 options), meat (4 maybe 5 options to choose from), fish (3-4). Honestly, it is hard to count. We never went hungry and also the restaurant is super clean and chefs and waiters are very polite and helpful - big thanks and thumbs up to restaurant and their team! Room: very modern, everything worked well, no issues with air conditioning or hairdryer, comfortable matress. Cleaning; hotel facilities and rooms are cleaned very conscientiously but I would also like to mention to management’a attention that probably it is worth hiring more cleaners as they seem to be extremely busy and delays in cleaning of rooms are possible as cleaners seem to be overwhelmed - this is a minor thing that didn’t have general impact on our trip. There is a big pool, pool bar, reception bar - everything you need. Somebody wrote in reviews that it was noisy - I can’t say we could feel it, it was pretty ok.

I was originally supposed to stay at Hotel Playa Park, but I got transferred to Hotel Riu Bravo. The staff told me the two are basically the same, so I’m guessing this applies to both. The hotel was super clean, and the location was spot on – just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. The pool area was really nice too.

Everything about the hotel was amazing! The staff are helpful, accommodating and friendly. The hotel is in a great location but with the great facilities, we didn't want to leave the hotel. There is something for everyone with 3 pool areas and entertainment. The room was big and well maintained and the bed very comfortable.
