Location was great and the staff was kind

Perfect location, right on the quieter part of the beach. Property has a store and restaurant which were both great and reasonably priced, hosts were fantastic (even with our very lacking Spanish skills) always made sure we were comfortable and happy.

Isla Baru and the beach is a primitive place - but if you are prepared for this, this place is a lovely little gem between all the very touristic places on the beach. Lovely view from the terrace, nice lunch and the owner was very, very kind to us - offering advice on general prices on the beach and arranging transfer by boat to Cartagena. Would definitely book again

Very relaxed place with good food and drinks which are reasonably priced. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Playa Blanca isn't a party spot, it's for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach and the location of Vista Linda is perfect for that. It is on the quieter side of the beach so it is less crowded and there are not many vendors there.

We had an amazing stay at Vista Linda. We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

The place is fantastic, in front of the beach, you can sit and relax. Attention was fantastic, Rosana, Manuel and Sore were very kind, very helpful, efficient and friendly, always made us feel as we were  in home. We loved the breakfast which was included. Highly recommendable place.

It was very calm. Also the owner was very very nice and friendly. Breakfast was for free and it was delicious.

Location was good, bit of a walk down the beach in heat if you have luggage but worth it as you are away from the harassment of beach sellers. Lovely place to just chill out for a couple of days and do nothing. Very good breakfast and dinner.

Perfect location on playa tranquila, the quieter side of playa blanca. Keep in mind that this is a popular day-use beach with no electrical connection or water mains. Electricity is provided by a generator when needed- this is RUSTIC, like going to cabin. That being said, Vista Linda was perfect. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and meal options, beautiful view of the Caribbean sea, and peaceful nights. Rosana and Manuel are fantastic hosts, who helped provide tours and excursions at fair prices and with charming locals. If you're looking for a rustic getaway on this popular beach, this cabana is a fantastic option.

“Rustic Cabaña right at the beach with amazing food and drinks”

We had an amazing experience in this little Hostal. It’s right at the beach and everything is there, really great food (especially the fresh fish) and tasty cocktails. Manuel and everybody else are super caring and attentive. We took the plankton tour one evening which was also a really great experience.

I enjoyed 2 nights at Vista Linda. Manuel was very helpful in arranging my transfer to and from the property. Roxanna made the best ceviche and in general the portions of food were very generous. The location is perfect and the bed is comfortable. I slept like a baby!

“An Amazing Stay In Playa Blanca”

We absolutely loved our stay at Vista Linda. The location couldn’t be better- situated on the quieter end of the beach. The room was of a good size and we found the bed to be very comfy. The hosts were frequently cleaning all areas of the property. The cleanliness is exceptional. The balcony area provides a great spot for meals- especially breakfast with a coffee overlooking the sea. We eat exclusively at Vista Linda and didn’t see a reason to not do so- the food was excellent and the portions massive! I also think given the portion sizes and the quality of the food the menu is priced well. Finally the hosts are very friendly and very welcoming. We would love to return!

Had the best stay here for two nights! All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, breakfast was lovely and the dinner portions were huge, so great value for money. The place was always clean as they were wiping the floors and cleaning all day. Amazing view from the balcony, especially during sunset. They also provide nice sunbeds on the beach and they look after your stuff while you're out swimming. The beach is stunning and the property lays in a more quiet part of the beach, however still lots of vendors passing by. It makes all the difference to your visit to stay the night rather than just go on a day trip. Loved the hammocks on the balcony. The room was basic, but comfortable and really nice to have the mosquito net. The temperature during the night was better than expected, actually quite cool even without fans.
