A truly wonderful hotel with excellent service — definitely the best on this side of the island. The property is located at the end of the beach, in a peaceful and pleasant area, right by the sea. The hotel is beautifully designed and feels very cozy. The staff were absolutely outstanding, and the restaurant was also of a very high standard. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful stay in Baru!”

This hotel is right on Playa Blanca, a bit further up towards Playa Tranquila which means it's slightly quieter in the surroundings. We had some issues accessing it but nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel were available straight away at check-in and everything was done smoothly. Our room was facing the ocean which was lovely, although it was quite small with our suitcases and now much room to manoeuvre two people inside. The food was great and the facilities too, lots of board games, hammocks, free use of the snorkelling and paddle board too. The highlight for us was how helpful a staff member was, went above and beyond to help us with our suitcases in the pouring rain after we were dropped miles away from the hotel and also on our way out back to Cartagena (can't remember his name but he was great!). We will be back.

“A hidden gem on Isla Barú”

Everything was really great, especially for such a busy beach. Thani Ecolodge is by far the best place to stay on this side of Barú. You can feel the vibrant energy of the local crowd from a distance, yet still enjoy peace and relaxation. The lodge is beautifully built—well-maintained, tastefully decorated, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The staff, especially Oswaldo, were incredibly kind, welcoming, always smiling, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about both the guests and the space. The service before check-in and during check-out was excellent. They even arranged our taxi from Cartagena and the boat ride to the lodge. The food was great too !

It was wonderful to be there for few relaxant days. The personal was very friendly and helpful all day long.

Everything was perfect. Staff was incredible kind, they upgraded my room and served my breakfast with my fruit of choice. The location couldn´t be better as it is far from the noise and boats of Playa Blanca. I suggest to ask for rooms at the second floor. The sunset view from the terrace was amazing. I would definitely com back.

Great pre-trip communication with host, excellent service, impeccable and clean rooms, delicious food at hotel restaurant. We arrived and received complimentary beers on the house, and they also fill for free your water bottles. The little gestures that matter! Gracias!

Oswaldo was very nice and helpful.

The location is nice, it's in front of the sea and the view is pretty. They don't have the beach in front but is literally just 2 minutes away. The food tastes good but it's a bit expensive and it's not really a big portion. The staff is friendly, they help you to organize the shuttle from and to the airport. But it's important to know that it takes like 1h 30min with the car and then like 15 minutes with the boat, but it's okay. The beach is good but it could be better, I mean it is not their fault, it's just that the sea is a bit dirty But in general, it was a nice place to rest, because the hotel is the most quiet in the zone, we liked that :)

“Thani is a great spot and if you want a stay at Playa Blanca Baru this is it”

The food would excellent. Option plenty. We ate all our meals at Thani and everything was awesome. The staff was very accommodating. Although there really is very little beach front we were able to access the water just a short walk away. Thani is definitely the best spot along Playa Blanca.

“Perfect place but surrounded by a destroyed Horror Beach”

-Place itself and personal are amazing! Service top, good quality top. The family of Thani really take care of offering the best experience the days we spent there. The made us feel good. -They have SUP, Kayak and Snorkeling masks (although you cannot really swim there due to the amount of boats driving around). -Place was very clean. -They provided us with drinking water the whole stay -All details were just top -They organised the transport for us (the way there and way back to Cartagena) (120.000 pesos the driver from Cartagena to Thani and they charges 20.000 per person to bring you by boat to the parking place). Longer boat from another place costs 90.000 pesos. - We spent 4 nights (too long... 2 nights could be anough) - they always ask to clean the room if we wanted - They recycle and take care of the environment - Everyone in that place was respectful and kind.

The location in playa tranquila was the best ! Also the lodge staff was really nice and Osvaldo the manager was always willing to help with a smile on his face .

Definitely the best place to stay on the whole beach! Quite. No loud screaming music. Friendly staff. Very nice beach/lounging area with trees who provide shadow.

“Lovely relaxing stay”

Staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were nice and the location is great - right on the beach and not cramped together with other hotels like the rest of the beach. Great spot to swim and relax. The food in the Thani restaurant is really good, also for vegetarians!
