Amazing place for mountain hikers, very hospitable owners. All the food is so tasty and homemade. Cottages are clean and comfy. Nature and views and everything is so worth the money.

“Beautiful quiet stay on the PoB trail”
This is a perfect stay on the Peaks of the Balkans trail. The cabins are rustic but the ones at the back have electricity and were very comfortable to sleep. The location is amazingly quiet and the family and staff are so so kind. Showers were really warm (but only 1-2 for all guests). The food was 10/10 being a restaurant and I’d recommended eating here even if you don’t stay.

Ermina and Remo were exceptional hosts. We arrived at the Katun on a very rainy afternoon, quite wet and cold. Remo immediately lit the stove in the dining room and Ermina provided us with hot tea. We spent a very cosy evening and enjoyed a delicious meal. The following, chilly morning we enjoyed breakfast with our hosts in their warm kitchen. A lovely stay with kind people. Thank you so much.

“Perfection in the Mountains”
The location is incredible. Out of this world. Great for small hikes, I drove around the National park, I have a solid 4x4 which is 100% required, please don't try in a small car especially if you are not comfortable with driving. Views are insane. Loved being able to watch the man work with his animals. The food was amazing and perfect for the night, so great. Really pleasant family, kind and friendly. Very cute, and sneaky, cat who tried to steal my food.

We had a really good time staying here! Right on the trail of Peak of Balkans - but a bit of a walk higher from Babino Polje but we were glad for it the next day. Lovely hosts, warm fire & great food. Perfect for a day off !

We loved this place. There served the best food we had along the peaks of the Balkans trail, the place has amazing views, friendly hosts and it's a lovely accomodation with basic wooden huts.
