Overview
The family-run Spyrou Studios & Apartments is just 10 metres from the beach of Platanidia, within a 2-minute walk from taverns and shops. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi and balcony overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf or the garden. An LCD TV is included in all accommodation types at the Spyrou Studios & Apartments. Each has a modern bathroom with hairdryer and shower. Some units offer a fully equipped kitchen with stove, a seating area and dining space. Volos Town is within 15 km. Agriolefkes Ski Centre is a 30-minute drive away. The famous steam train of Pilio that goes to the scenic village of Milies, stops within a 10-minute walk from the property.

“A Perfect Holiday at Spyrou Studios & Apartments”
We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse! It is located in the center of Platanidia, in a quiet and very well-positioned area. Right in front of the property there is a bus stop with regular connections to the city of Volos – a great advantage for those who want to explore the surroundings. Just a few steps away, around the corner, there's a small shop open until the evening where you can buy groceries, coffee, and other essentials. The sea is just across the road, and although the beach is narrow and pebbly, this is typical for Greece and it didn’t bother us at all. We stayed in a spacious apartment on the upper floor, with a beautiful terrace and a stunning sea view. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped, with three air conditioning units, a large comfortable bed, a sofa, a kitchen with everything needed for cooking and dining, insect screens, and good water pressure. Although we had booked a double room, we were kindly offered the apartment upstairs, which made us very happy and gave us the chance to enjoy the amazing view from the terrace. The host is a wonderful person – attentive, kind, and always ready to help. Since it was the Easter period, he brought us homemade pies and sweets prepared by his wife, and on our departure, he gifted us a jar of olives he had preserved himself – they were absolutely delicious! We were truly impressed by the beauty of the Pelion region, the authenticity of the places, and the wonderful people we met. We will definitely return next year to Spyrou Studios & Apartments!

I like everything, the location, the host, Tanasis, who is very friendly and kind, the room wich was nice, clean and comfortable, the everyday mornings with the beautiful sea very close to the hotel. I like the garden of the hotel, a good place for the breakfast and for the morning cofee. It was a wonderful vacation and I intend to come back to Spirou Studios & Apartments Thank you, Tanasis!

“Relaxing home away from home”
Excellent location - both easy to get into Volos and explore the Pelion region by car (free parking in front) or by bus (stops right next door). There is a beach directly in front of the property (we spotted a few dolphins!), a taverna next door and a mini market around the corner. The hosts are gracious and kind and the place was spotless, with its own kitchen, separate bedrooms and a nice outside patio. Quiet and private. We loved our stay and will most definitely return.

We really enjoyed the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere. The room was fully renovated and equipped something that made our stay really comfortable. The guests are very welcoming and willing to help and provide interesting information about the place and some worth visiting locations. There is also a shared kitchen on the ground floor, very clean with all the appliances, for anyone who wishes to have some coffee or prepare meals. I recommend Spyrou Studios and Pilion in general for every traveller who wishes to relax, enjoy nature and admire the scenery.

Thanassis was exceptional guest, very friendly and attentive, full of care for any of our questions and he gave us plenty of suggestions! + you are literally at a few meters from the sea, a taverna, a minimarket and a free parking place (and a bus stop in case you do not drive)
