We booked ahead using the booking.com app, arrived and found the hotel was shut. There is something very wrong with the system to allow us to book, and pay for a hotel which is closed then have to claim a refund 😬

“I got there and the hotel was CLOSED . Completely shut down. Nobody was there, nobody answered the phone, nobody answer”
Nothing, bc I couldn’t stay there. I got there and the hotel was CLOSED . Completely shut down. Nobody was there, nobody answered the phone, nobody answered the chat. I’m still trying to contact this hotel for my refund. If the hotel is closed, it shouldn’t be available for booking.
