“Off the beaten track!!”
We loved the location of this 400 yr old property, which is deep in the mountainside above a lovely lake which you can walk around - just beautiful! Our host was lovely and she provided us with a beautiful breakfast. Her 3 dogs were welcoming & so friendly! She also allowed us charge our PHEV.

The host was extremely helpful and gave an exceptional service. Dinner and breakfast were way beyond expectations. All food was prepared on site and from on site products. Room was amazing just like living in a tree house

“Stunning, quirky and unexpectedly delightful”
It was a stunning location and the host was extremely welcoming (but only speaks French unfortunately for me!). It is definitely a 'get there by car' type of place alternatively you could probably hike there with a bit of planning as it is situated in a beautiful forest around a lake. The room is picturesque and you can see her creative flair which is lovely. Its both cosy and spacious in the room. Our bathroom was upstairs and it was well laid out and had everything you would need. We were also travelling with a medium dog. She welcomed our pet and has two dogs and a cat of her own. We did keep the pets separated but it was all part of the experience of staying in someone else's space. The host ended up making us a surprising and exceptional meal from the veg and herbs in her garden because the only local restaurant was closed (still a drive away). I would also recommend going for her breakfast as she makes all her own jams (also some of her own teas) and the pancakes were very yummy. All in all it's a quirky place with a fantastic home built design. I was absolutely delighted by the whole experience and have already recommended it!

“A special place to visit with a cosy and homely atmosphere.”
An amazing stay. We checked in late and unfortunately restaurants back in town were closed. We were provided with an array of cheeses, crepes, bread, salad and wine for dinner (which we had not pre-ordered or given advance notice for). 10/10 host and 11/10 atmosphere!
