Everything was arranged super well. Good communication before the trip and at arrival the villa was super clean. The fridge was filled with local specialties, which shows the great hospitality.

Beautiful recently renovated house. Even better than photos - more tasteful than expected. Very thoughtful design and touches: each bed had one soft and one hard pillow for example. Everything felt thoughtful and high quality. Comfortable beds, incredible views, lots of space, cute swimming pool. Great location, walking distance to loads of good restaurants, bakery, excellent supermarket, shops and beaches (if a steep walk!). Best of all the personal care and touches of the family, bringing fresh eggs, figs and donuts. We felt so welcome.

Well serviced, quite new villa (2025). View to the sea. Perfectly equipped kitchen and tabs for washing machine and dishwasher have been provided. Cleaning was regular and uncomplicated to schedule with the very friendly staff on site.

Villa Pearl is located on a slope near the services of Plakias village. The apartment is within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The apartment has beautiful views of the sea. The villa is beautifully decorated and really clean. It was cleaned once during our week's vacation and the towels and sheets were changed at the same time. It was a pleasant surprise, we did not expect this kind of service in villa accommodation. The villa had all the essentials and more! The host was really friendly and when we arrived at the villa, wine, raki, juice and other delicacies were waiting for us. Also when we left, we received their own olive oil as a gift. We have a rental car for the whole week and we used it to tour the beautiful nearby beaches. Plakias is a cute little village and there weren't too many people there. We liked the area much more than Chania.

The owners , Mr Michalis and family made us feel most welcome and worked tirelessly to maintain/clean the property. An excellent stay. Great air conditioning during unseasonal hot spell and the plunge pool was well used. Ideal property for our trip with good restaurants and shops in Plakias.

“A wonderful modern Mediterranean villa with a breathtaking view!”

A truly beautiful villa. We stayed as a family of four in Villa II and had plenty of space. The villa is quite modern, but has an old Mediterranean touch with the wooden plank ceilings.  The terrace is spacious and offers more than enough space for laying in the sun, having a family dinner or a nice barbecue with the gas grill. The pool is good for a refreshment. The temperature can be adjusted on request.  Due to the frosted glass surrounding the terrace area, privacy is secured. The view over Plakias and the Mediterranean Sea is breathtaking. Watching the sun set from one of the top floor balconies is a wonderful experience. The kitchen offers all equipment you need for a delicious meal.  Electronics and technology are top notch. The entire villa is equipped with air conditioning that can be remotely controlled. The big television has a Smart TV function for streaming, and even a PlayStation 4 offers entertainment for a rare rainy day. The wifi connection is perfect in the entire building and outside area. The internet is fast and stable. The owners were very welcoming and super friendly. They treated us like friends and this gave it an almost family like atmosphere. Any wishes or request will be fulfilled immediately. More often than not the owners' wife surprised us with some delicious snacks from the Greek cuisine. The outside area is cleaned daily, while the inside is cleaned every 3 days. The time can be individually chosen. Cleaning is being taken very seriously and you won't be able to find a single hair in the entire vila.

“We will not return to this villa as I was misled into believing it offered 3 bedrooms all ensuite.”

I had expected 3 ensuite rooms. Two upstairs rooms had ensuite bathroom and views. The third room was without a window and the glass sliding door to that room opened onto a 4 meter wall and washing line. No view whatsoever. The room did not have its own bathroom and was claustrophobic. The bathroom was open to use by whomever was downstairs.

Location was great, town really lovely. Hosts were really good and brought food round a few times. They were very responsive to questions and queries via text. Would definitely recommend and use again

“Amazing get away! Villa with style and heart”

This place is amazing! One of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in. The villa is very well equipped, with every (kitchen) appliance you could possibly wish for and the interior is very stylish with an eye for detail. The place is very clean and if it wasn’t for our flight back we could’ve stayed there. What made our stay extra special were the kind hosts who surprised us with homemade food. Highly recommended!! Absolutely delighted with this property, everything that’s in the pictures is true and more. From a friendly welcome by Michael to a welcome pack of supplies …we could not have been happier. Even an offer of a house clean and bedding change mid week which we accepted. It’s brand new, meticulously clean, fresh and carefully thought out. Each room has its own en-suite, comfy firm bedding and pillows, plenty of shelving - the kitchen is well equipped, dishwasher washing machine plus the gas BBQ. Helpful friendly owners who kept a low profile but were there if needed, when we asked if there were any extra sun beds, they appeared next day - what’s not to like? Will definitely be returning.

Whilst as some mention this property is up a hill if it wasn't you wouldn't have such a great view of the bay from the balconies. It was still only a leisurely walk, which we did each morning to the local bakery/coffee shop and in the evenings to the range of restaurants and facilities. The house was immaculate and extremely well looked after and the hosts went beyond expectations to make us feel at home and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a lovely relaxing family time and the pool was just the right temperature throughout the day. It is also a great base to explore more of Crete we 'popped off' to Knossos and Heraklion for the day. Thank you also for the leaving gifts of Olive oil and beeswax

The owners are very friendly. We really loved the view and we had a lovely week. The house is super equipped! The terrace is perfect for relaxing and you can get to the sea in five minutes. Overall a very successful holiday and we would definitely come again!
