Number one it is always the people who make the difference. A very nice family is running this place . The one who is the actuel boss is Stelios. Because he is the one who handles this place and speaks very good English. The rooms are incredible clean and have a nice balcony. It was cleaned every day which is not happening in other places. Then there is a pool with sunbeds and trees for shade. You can order drinks at very reasonable prices. Kitchen was good enough to prepare simple things. The location is good. 100 meters there is a big supermarket . To the center it is 10 minutes walk. Would we stay here again ? Yes!!!!

“Wonderful”

Stelios was a fantastic host. Warm and helpful, responsive to all our requests. Studio was spacious, nicely decorated. Kitchenette well equipped with everything you need. Balcony and pool in full sun in the afternoon and evening with lovely views of the mountains and sunset. Supermarket right next door, large bakery 5 mins walk and 10 mins walk in to the town.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is run by a lovely Greek family who made us feel at home from the very first moment. Our host, Stelios, went above and beyond — giving us recommendations for beaches and places to visit, also where to eat that were better than anything Google could suggest. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and prepared with so much care, with strawberry marmalade home made by grandma, and tea leaves picked up in the mountains. Everything was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the hospitality was truly genuine. Everyone, especially Stelios, was super polite, kind, and attentive — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

“A peaceful oasis to salve a weary travellers soul”

This is an oasis, run by wonderful people, who make every effort to assist you to enjoy your stay. The pool area is lovely, with beautiful trees and planting all around. There is an olive grove at the back of the property. In my opinion I think it would be hard to find better hosts in all of Greece than Stelios and his family. For instance the breakfast that you can buy there is amazing. It is fulll of home grown/ made products (yoghurt, honey, jam, etc). The rooms are very comfortable with a lovely little balcony. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 7-8minutes into town. It is a must stay location if you are going to Plakias. A very relaxig, comfortable, and enjoyable stay

Perfect location just a short walk from the town, Manolis, Maria and Stellios (and Rocky!) are wonderful hosts, and make you feel at home. We loved watching the sunset on our balcony 🩵

Very cozy, family hotel with beutifull garden, swimming pool. Great place for relax. Owners Family make everything you feel like home. Good localization with walking distance to the beach, mountains, market and downtown. Clean and fresh rooms and delicious breakfast (extra paid). You can really charge your batteries here:) and feel the spirit of the Crete. Thnak you very much.

Irida studios are clean with a beautiful pool and garden. Stelios is doing a very good job managing the entire place and was always kind and accommodating

“Family business - you feel it.”

Everything. It’s so familiar. Located near the beach, by foot. There is a pool with a bar, where you can have freddo cappuccino or a beer etc. recommendation, book a breakfast. Every apartment has a balcony and a kitchen. Cleaning every day. You can reach the city with all the different taverns in less then 5 minutes by foot. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great hosts with good tips for the region. Nice and close walk to the beach as well.

Maria and Manolis were perfect hosts. Always helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned everyday, with super comfortable beds, and in a quiet location within easy walking distance to everything. I would definitely like to return there.
