Great place to stay, a nice quiet location. We used to pool lot as was quiet most of the time.

This was one of our best bookings so far! The property is perfectly located, with a quiet, clean pool. Right at the start, the host offered us a larger apartment with extra amenities at no additional cost. Calma has a peaceful vibe — it's a great place to relax with children by the pool. Everything was very clean and well-prepared. The beds had super comfortable mattresses, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Artemis, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you also for the welcome treat — it was absolutely delicious! 😊

We loved our stay at Calma, the 2 bed apartment was a good size and modern inside. Was very clean and the service for cleaning and beading etc was very efficient. We had 2 balconies one for the morning sun and one for the afternoon :) Out side the pool was a good size and was never over crowded. The owner Artemis made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived, (thank you) she was always available if you needed her or help anything, and very knowledgeable of places to visit on the island. I would defiantly recommend this property to stay in and we hope to return at some point in the future.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and Artemis was delightful throughout, giving us good advice on where to go sightseeing, as the weather was so awful! We had a free upgrade to a fully refurbished two bedroom apartment, which was great.. loads of space for us, and thank you!

Comfortable beds. Spacious studio apt (No 1) on ground floor. Plenty of storage. Lovely pool and seating area. Lovely helpful and obliging host.

“Calma- a little oasis”

An exceptionally comfortable stay with a lovely, generous host, Artemis.Although we have been many times to Plakias, this was our first stay at Calma. Will definitely return

The host kindly met us on arrival (we had to wait a few minutes as she had to drive over when we rang). She was very welcoming and friendly and although it was after midnight she offered us some food (two large filled rolls and two cakes and two beers and some water) which was very gratefully received. Breakfast or other meals were not included in the deal but the apartment is so close to the seafront and an array of lovely restaurants and selling breakfasts, this wasn’t needed. Also there is a supermarket only a few minutes walk away if you wanted to self cater as there is an adequate kitchenette in the room.

“Even better than expected”

Even better than expected. We had a spacious apartment with two bathrooms, a very practical layout, a full kitchen, and multiple balconies. We couldn't have chosen a better hotel and were thrilled to enjoy it even more than we anticipated. We hope to return to this hotel in the future, as it was one of our most pleasant stays when visiting Greece. The lovely staff was always eager to help.

“A wonderful, calm holiday where we felt extremely welcome.”

The apartment was lovely, with everything we needed. The pool area and bar were perfect, quiet and sheltered from the wind, with a little shallow pool for our 2 year old. The location was perfect and the host was so helpful and super attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be returning and bringing the rest of the family along. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Clean modern and spacious yet close to town and is eateries and drinkeries. Town can be a little windy so loved having a pool to sit around when too windy for beach. Staff great. Loved Damnoni beach in the day. Especially loved main town bakery at Plakais 740 60 for breakfast and various treats.

Particularly liked the pool, and its great varity of seating. Athena is great, excellent social sensitivity. Great position. Really spacious rooms; well equipped and spotless. Relaxed atmosphere

“Swimming pool in windy Plakias does the trick”

Calma Apartments are located right in the centre of Plakias but the building is somewhat secluded, which makes it a quiet place to stay. The highlight is clearly the swimming pool and the pool bar. Also parking is really easy.

Have visited before. Position in town close but quiet convenient for taverna beach shops etc. Room is clean and simple no frills studio ideal for a stay with independent transport, visiting local history, birding nature etc. Hostess Artemis very helpful, free bottle beer on arrival, and during stay free meal stuffed peppers, cake. I do not suggest everyone will get same. Private pool and small bar a bonus this year as weather in July hot. Pool clean.
