I booked this hotel through Booking.com, mainly because of the advertised spa area. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing. First of all, the address listed on Booking was incorrect, which caused my husband and me to arrive at the wrong location at 10 p.m. Only after making a detour and calling the hotel did we manage to find the correct place using Google Maps. Unfortunately, the receptionist on the phone was not empathetic at all and sounded dismissive rather than helpful. When we finally arrived, I spoke directly with the manager to explain the situation. After a longer conversation, we were given complimentary access to the spa as compensation. However, it turned out that access was very limited: the last entry is at 7 p.m., even though the spa only opens at 5 p.m. This was not clearly communicated to us. The information sheet we received was in Spanish, even though we had been speaking in English, which led to further misunderstanding. What disappointed me the most was the pricing model: the spa charges €20 per person for only 1.5 hours of use. For a 4-star hotel, I find this completely inappropriate. Anyone familiar with wellness culture knows that you need time to enjoy a spa or sauna visit without feeling rushed. Additionally, important information is missing or unclear on Booking.com – for example, how much is actually charged for pets or for the spa area. On a positive note, the hotel is located in a stunning area surrounded by mountains. Unfortunately, I felt that the staff did not truly appreciate the special place they work in. Communication was unprofessional, the atmosphere was rather cold, and there was little effort to make our stay pleasant or to leave us with a good impression at the end. I travel frequently and have stayed in comparable hotels in countries like Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where I have always experienced much more professionalism, respect, and customer care.

It was a good place to stay for one night pit stop while travelling through the Pyrenees. A nice out of the way location.

An aparthotel with parking, located at the edge of Pla de l'Ermita. The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms, a living room, and a small kitchenette. Breakfast is good. One evening we also had dinner there and enjoyed it very much.

This is actually a wellness centre, but they also rent out apartments. These apartments are spacious and well-equipped. While it is a bit further up the mountain than Taüll and Boi these villages can be reached in 5-10 minutes by car and this was a very affordable and well-reviewed option. There is also a terrace available for those who wish to sit outside. When we visited, there was enough parking space around the facilities, so the paid private parking was unnecessary. Friendly and helpful staff.
