This family-run hotel is a historically protected monument and part of the Gartenstrasse shopping street. It is located between Dresden's Old Town and the cliff formations of the Saxon Switzerland Nature Park. Hotel Sächsischer Hof offers an outdoor terrace and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are non-smoking and come with a flat-screen cable TV and a bathroom with shower and free toiletries. From 07:00 (07:30 at weekends) a rich buffet breakfast is served in the Sächsischer's breakfast room.No other meals are available. Guests at the Sächsischer Hof can take a long walk around the surrounding Renaissance and Baroque-style buildings. The hotel provides a free car parking space and a secure bicycle storage room. “Good choice”
Hotel is in a good location, near the bus station and in walkable distance from the city center. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was very good. I appreciated free parking. Wifi was working well

“Overall a good stay”
The Hotel was placed in Centrum closed to the old town with good restaurants. Okay rooms. During our visit it was vey hot and sunny weather so we missed air-condition.

“A nice stay in a lovely town”
Excellent location, close to the bus and railway stations but still only a few steps from beautiful town centre. A very quiet room despite the traffic outside. A bit crowded private parking, but always possible to find free space. Nutricious breakfast. Effective electric fan in the room. And last but not least - friendly and helpful staff!

Overall the hotel is really nice. The room was a bit old and smelly, also a bit dark. On the other hand, breakfast was really nice: nice variety, good tea, very cosy breakfast area, good service. Also I can mention small parking: it is rather small, and if you come late you might need to look for the place in the city.
