“beautiful pousada let down by its staff”
well located, quiet property with a large garden, they have turned the front of the house into some kind of colonial 'museum' (not that there are any explanations but there are 'historic' items on display and a small library of the previous owner of the house, a judge of some renown) and built 12 chalets and a dining area in the large well tended garden at the back of the house, no traffic noise can be heard, there is a pool and a jaccuzzi. Our chalet was one of the luxury ones and had beautiful wooden floors and was well appointed. Breakfast is plenty and varied.

“Conveniently located and clean pousada with spacious rooms. Will be better once building work is completed”
Rooms were large and clean. Property is in town but away from the main streets and the noise. Parking was secure.
