The place is great, ideal for travellers who would rather be far away from the buzzle and crowded touristic parts and yet the perfect location to other villages/ cities, beaches, easily reached by car. Nearby, there is an old monastery if you'd like to climb, and if your knees are in good shape, you would enjoy a nearly private beach just 35 minutes down. Taverna Viktoria also offers great food and is just 1 min walk. Everybody knows each other in this small village and it is such a nice feeling to be there and enjoy the pace of simple joyful things. Regarding the stay, it was much better than I expected. The room is comfortable, the kitchen contains all the utensils you might need, the view is gorgeous. But the highlight is the hospitality and caring of Maria. I've stayed in many places and countries, and I have had great experiences, but she is really a person who manages to make everything so special and is so genuine in her care! Every day, she would bring us not just any treats but homemade treats, with ingredients that she had grown in her garden. She also lent us a beach umbrella and chair, which were so useful in the hot summer! Maria is a one of kind human being, you can see in her eyes the way she treats people is so genuine. Honestly, when reading "luxury rooms" it is indeed luxury, but not for the usual meaning society makes us associate it with. To have such encounters, to enjoy that amazing view, to eat freshly made pies with organic ingredients, to have such a kind and genuine host like Maria, this is the real luxury! I certainly want to come back! Thank you for everything, Maria!

“Cozy and welcoming oasis in Albanian riviera”

María was a great and welcoming host, she brought us home cooked food everyday, the apartment was in a convenient location to reach surrounding areas and was very clean and comfortable. Maria welcomed us with cold beers in the fridge and fresh fruit in the morning, and was there for anything we needed . There was a kitchen where we could cook with all the amenities.

Everything was great! Maria is an exceptional host, always very kind. The view is incredible.

Everything was great. Maria is unbeatable host. Happy to help with anything. Her culinary specialities are amazing. Beach by car within few minutes. Restaurants and shops are a few steps from the apartments. The spacious, shady and fragrant garden delighted us. The place is quiet, although it is near the main road, which is an advantage. It is very easy to find.

Maria is an exceptional host. very carefull, helpfull and her hospitality is incredible! Her breakfasts and all dishes are surprising and very tasty. we appreciate the village art of accomodation and a possibility to find a privat beach.

Maria is an excellent host, very kind and extraordinarily generous. The apartment is very spatious with a nice and cool courtyard to chill in hot days. The garden is beautiful with many plants and the view from Piqeras on the Adriatic is extraordinary. It is a convenient 10-minute drive to Bunec beach and the town Piqeras hosts the excellent Taverna Viktoria.
