The hotel looks clean, the room is spacious and clean, it is warm inside, and the balcony is large. However, what is not pleasant: from the receptionist to the lady at breakfast or the spa, you constantly have the impression that someone is watching you. You can’t do anything without feeling like you are being monitored. At breakfast, which is anyway very, very light, you cannot make your own coffee or tea. The lady stands there watching what you take and how much you drink. Be careful with the spa: on Booking there are two options, one room without spa and one room with “unlimited” spa. We took the simple room thinking that the spa was included but limited. In reality, they ask you to pay for it, and this is not written anywhere on Booking. Also, the “unlimited spa” does not really exist. In fact, it is limited, and on some days it is even closed. I will leave below the schedule of the pool and spa, which is not even fixed, because they can close it whenever they want. Be careful when booking the room with “unlimited spa”. Also, to access the spa, the lady comes to pick you up from the reception and opens the door with a special key, as if we were criminals. The same lady does not even let you drink your tea peacefully: if you leave your cup and go to the sauna for a few minutes, when you come back the cup is already gone.

Friendly welcoming staff who coped with our pigeon Italian very well. Family orientated both staff and clients. Would highly recommend booking the spa facilities which were outstanding value. Local dishes in restaurant varied and very tasty.

Clean and comfortable environment. Friendly and helpful staff! The wellness centre is really well kept (I am very picky about the cleanliness and care of the SPA and this has fully satisfied)

The breakfast was lovely and the location convenient. The rooms were clean but extremely basic- there was no plug in our room and the mattress and pillows were rock hard. The curtain also didn’t cover the whole window. It was very basic but clean

We would recommend the family Caola hotel as more than excellent. Pleasant staff, excellent food, we give the head chef a high score of 10! They have transportation to the main cable car for skiers, which is connected to several places of nearby skiers, as a free service. Excellent wi-fi. Free parking. Excellent pool and jacuzzi with several saunas. They offer excellent wines from their area. Thank you for the excellent accommodation! Big thanks to the owner family for organizing a nice stay in Pinzolo! We will certainly recommend your hotel to our friends from Croatia!
