The service was exceptional. The room was very comfortable. Dinners were delicious and beautifully garnished. All the flowers and herbs were vibrant and fragrant providing an environment of calm. Breakfast was bountiful and consisted of a wide selection to include fruits, meats, cheeses, various egg preparations, hearty breads and homemade marmalade. Every room within the hotel created an ambiance of home with touches of art, comfy furnishings and a restful feeling.

The setting was lovely and the grounds beautifully thought out with many separate seating areas to enjoy and gorgeous plantings throughout. The renovated main building retained its history while still being transformed into comfortable guest lodgings with every detail considered. The wonderful hosts were very gracious and welcoming, providing a comprehensive breakfast, and the animals on the grounds were adorable and entertaining. We would love to return and spend more time.

The property is a a wonderful setting carved out of the woods and has been beautifully refurbished, down to the finest detail. Dinner was excellent, and at €45 pp was great value for the quantity and quality of the meal, and breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. Roland and Jean-Paul were perfect hosts - both attentive and discreet at the appropriate times. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t book for longer.

Charming watermill, surrounded by nature, peaceful, with a wonderful stream going around the property. Calm, quiet, cosy. Everything is perfect, a real 5 star accomodation. The owners are just perfect in every small detail and ready to answear to every need you might have. The room was spotless and decorated with class fornitures. Dinner is delicious.

I had been traveling Europe for 2 weeks and this was by far the best accommodation I had visited. The decor is outstanding and the quality is of the best. Comfortable is an under statement. The food was also excellent, the best food I had during travels. Jean Paul is an outstanding chef.

Everything was simply outstanding. JP and Roland overwhelmed us with their hospitality and care. They have made the lofflmuhle a true ‘Eden’: beautiful interior, great breakfast and diner cooked by JP, wonderful beds, the best atmosphere. We bought a few presents that Roland wrapped in such way you don’t want to unpack! All is done with the utmost care.

I have been a professional culinary chef and gastegeber for nearly 40 years I travel often and this is one of most attentive and lovingly operated places I've ever visited. Roland is a fabulous host and Jean Paul calls himself a hobby cook but he is clearly a Culinary Chef!! Thank you Roland and Jean Paul for sharing your Wonderful place with us.
