It was a very nice place, we felt like home. The employees super warm and welcome, especially Julio and Vanesa at the restaurant and the breakfast service that made sure we were spending a comfortable and amazing time. It was a perfect place to rest from the big crowds in the city and relax. Also, the views from the entire place were insane. We would definitely come back.

Lovely hotel nested in the mountain with a beautiful view of the valley. Half an hour drive to La Spezia where you can catch the train to Cinque Terre. Unfortunately we were offered a room at the back on the ground floor with no view whatsoever. The room was actually slightly below ground. It felt a little bit like a room in a basement. Pretty dark. There was some water infiltration and the room was quite humid. We visited end of September. The central heating was not switched on yet. Once the heating working the room should be more comfortable, but for sure an above ground room would have made our stay a lot more pleasant. Besides that small disappointment, we enjoyed everything else. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Buffet breakfast was included and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, particularly at the reception. Thank you!

“Traditional Italian country views hotel”

If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track and value for money that represents traditional Italian, then you have found it. I would say a car is necessary, up in the hills with fantastic country views, rooms are spacious and clean, very basic yes but look at what you are paying for the room? Has a bonus of a swimming pool. We ate in the restaurant which again was value for money, very tasty, not much choice on the menu so check if it suits. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. 👍

“Relaxing location”

Lovely location with great views. We liked relaxing by the pool. We enjoyed a pre dinner drink by the terrazza. Convenient restaurant on site with helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast too.

Extremely nice location, very comfortable.

The lighting is practically non-existent. I arrived in the evening around 9 PM, and since the hotel is on a hill, when you drive up, there are no clear landmarks for parking. I ended up in the motorcycle parking area, where there’s an unmarked steep slope in the center. I accidentally drove the car’s wheel onto it and scratched the entire left side of the vehicle.

A single room, small but comfortable, good shower. The lighting however was not good. searchlight bright side and ceiling.

Personel extremly friendly and helpful, food above expectations, location special, but nature super beautiful. Service was perfect, breakfast perfect on the terase, check-in and out smooth. For days to be a bit away from the crowds is just perfect.

Location is good if you want to visit Cinque Terre, don't want the expensive stays, and don't mind driving 20-30 minutes. Hotel staff was very friendly Breakfast was plenty to choose from and good. Pool was refreshing and clean. Hint: Very good pizza at Pignone, Pizzeria "IL CASTELLARO", about a 10 minute drive.
