“extraordinary”
The accommodation was phenomenal, with excellent design. The host truly impressed us with his extravagant culinary skills. Staying in this historic family-owned former monastery felt like stepping into another time. The atmosphere was exceptional, surrounded by breathtaking nature, perfect for walks and hikes. We’ll definitely be coming back – thank you for a fantastic stay!

“Fantastic!”
This medieval monastery is located in a truly fantastic environment, surrounded by hills and mountains. Well-equipped, quiet, calm place, with an extremely kind host, Luigi. Breakfast faithfully reflects the Italian traditions, with various sweet cakes and the dinner is a multi-course, gourmet masterpiece every day.

Huge plot, quiet and cozy place to enjoy nature. Perfect place to "restart". Exceptional dinners! Luigi (owner) is the best host! Spectacular view which you can enjoy directly from pool.

“Lovely holidays...”
Exceptional place with a very kind host and team. We felt very welcome. Definitely to be recommended for the quality, simplicity and stunning views. We loved the delicious breakfast cakes and the (optional) dinners were simply excellent!

It's a beautiful and calm location up in the hills. More importantly, Luigi takes care of you with warm kindness and a familiar atmosphere. He assisted us with many things and was a generous host. Bring carrots or melons for Rosy, his old horse.

“Wonderful and definitely worth it.”
Luigi is a wonderful host. He advised us certain locations to visit that is to our liking. He was also very flexible when it came to eat at Ai Frati, where he was able to provide food that is vegetarian. The food was very delicious!!! The views were breath taking. Perfect vacation to relax :)

“A beautiful, peaceful place with a great host and staff”
My wife and I spent a fantastic week at Agriturismo Ai frati. The host, Luigi, and all the staff are kind, helpful, and friendly - we felt very welcome and extremely well cared for. The place and its surroundings are charming and peaceful. The room and other spaces of the old monastery have a great atmosphere, are carefully renovated and sparkling clean. The pool is beautifully located and set in an environment, and large enough for a good swim. The breakfast is delicious (and the optional dinners that can be arranged are excellent). The place is also a great basis for trips to surrounding towns and villages and hikes/bike rides in the Apuan Alps. For us, Agriturismo Ai frati is a special place, and we hope we will be able to return there for a holiday someday.

“Just one word: FANTASTIC”
We stayed for 6 days at this beautiful place. Via a gravelroad you reach the gate were chairman Luigi is waiting for you! We had an appartement in this old monastery. The walls are so thick, so airconditioning is not necessary. From the monastery you have a beautiful few. The area is calm an relaxed with an nice swimming pool. The whole staff is so friendly and will help you with all your questions. But what makes this place extra special: the food!!! Both breakfast and dinner are amazing! Every day we ate at the monastery. Dinner started at 20:15. And after 4 courses and good wine you sleep very well. A part of the monastery still needs to be renovated. Old murals are still visible and Luigi can tell you everything about this. Summarized: very good host, amazing dinner, calm and nice swimming pool! Tip:
