“Lovely hotel with a stunning view”

The price really matches the quality of the place. Four-star hotels in that area usually cost much more, so it was absolutely worth it for us. Beautiful location overlooking the hills and very easy check-in.

We stayed in a suite with a balcony, and the room couldn’t have been more dreamy. Opening the window reveals classic Tuscan countryside views — absolutely breathtaking. There was also a wonderful sense of staying in a historic castle . Breakfast was fantastic, featuring fresh vegetables grown by the property and delicious local dishes. Everything was genuinely delicious. It’s also just a short drive to the town centre. We truly recommend this place!

Palazzo Massaini is place with a beautiful views, especially during sunsets. Glass of wine as a welcome was nice accent. Our room was big, nice and clean. We really liked breakfast - very simple but good. People were kind and smiling.

“An experience staying in such a historic and beautiful Palazzo”

We absolutely loved staying in Palazzo Massaini, we stayed in the castle part rather than the agriturismo and it felt really special staying in such a historic Palazzo. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. It was quiet and the facilities were super. Rooms were an excellent size and very nicely done (new and comfy) It was so nice we requested a wedding brochure, so I think that speaks volumes on how beautiful it is.

AMAZING! The property, the land and buildings, are what one would imagine when thinking about Tuscany. Beautiful and spacious room in a castle close to Pienza. The grounds/gardens and views are beautifully. Breakfast is fresh and lovely with many options. This is served at another location which you can drive or walk to, we walked.

The setting is Tuscany in a painting. The venue offers a bit of magic within the walls and grounds of a grand villa hilltop castle in a golden landscape amongst vineyards and olive groves with some fantastic views of pienza, surrounding towns and villages, the tuscan countryside and landscapes not forgetting the most amazing sunsets. Once the wine tasting groups leave for the day, it feels like you have the place to yourself. Quiet privacy.

fantastic view and establishment rich in history but very newly renovated indoors, spotlessly clean, staff were super friendly and helpful. the welcome drink was definitely a bonus as their wine is also fantastic. room was spacious, breakfast was great. water pressure in the shower was strong. parking also available at no extra cost.

The Palazzo Massaini is an extraordinary piece of history built in 1215 and very well preserved until today. The recently renovated rooms gave us the opportunity to be in a Palazzo with more than 800 years, with the comfort of a modern house. All the staff absolutely fantastic, the breakfast food was amazing, the wine and the Bottega Verde are truly amazing.
