Overview
B&B Il Giglio's classic Tuscan rooms are set in a Renaissance building in the historic centre of Pienza. They feature terracotta floors, period furniture, and exposed wood-beamed ceilings. Guests can book services at the spa, which is located inside a grotto and includes a sauna, hot tub and steam bath. All rooms at the Giglio have a TV and modern private bathroom, complete with shower and toiletry set. Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, and a seating area with sofa bed. Some rooms offer views of the Palazzo Piccolomini and Piazza Pio II square, which are both 1 street from the guest house. Guests can enjoy free tea facilities and read books from the bookshelves. A continental breakfast every morning in your room. The B&B is 12 km from Montepulciano and a 1-hour drive from Siena. The nearest Train Station is Chiusi - Chianciano Terme, 20 km away. Public buses connect the station to the town of Pienza.

All perfect! Amazing place. House beautifull and clean, and owner very kind. I visited tuscany and Pienza many times in my life, alone, with family and this time with friend from abroad. The magic moment is sleeping in a house like this , inside the middle age walls, where the silence of the night is incredible!

Loved Pienza and loved Roberta's place. This was the ideal place from which to explore the lovely town of Pienza. Il Giglio is full of small and thoughtful touches. Throughout the room. Roberta is helpful and suggestions and recommendations are posted through out the B&B. We had the balcony overlooking the town and it was difficult to get me to leave it Roberta's place is really well positioned in the centre of town and within easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions. We loved it and will return.

The pillows need pillow covers as well as pillow slips because they were abit smelly The chairs and sofa covers need a good wash too!!

Fantastic location! Center of the town, very convenient everywhere you go and quite and safety. Like. when we arrived, owner came to taxi parking lot to invite us. Very famillier B&B. Our room, top of the house, sun shine, clean and qute with kitchen bedroom busroom. Perfect!

“Beautiful, tranquil hotel in Pienza - highly recommend”
The property is in a tranquil street in the centre of Pienza. We stayed in the rooftop room with an absolutely stunning view. The room is very well decorated and the host provided us with Orange juice, water, pastries, fruit, teas etc which was a nice addition. The host is also very nice.

“Average, other options in Pienza worth exploring before this.”
The bedding was hot and uncomfortable polyester-the mattress was soft and spongy (uncomfortable). The bathroom and shower were tiny. The coffee offerings were minimal-barley and decaf-terrible! A very central location but I’ve stayed in much better in the centre of Pienza.

“Fantastic topfloor apartment with a wonderful view over the Tuscany landscape!”
The topfloor with a terrass was absolutly fantastic. Sun all day and sunset over the roofs of the town.
