We were extremely well received during check-in at Monastero di Sant’Anna in Camprena and were absolutely blown away by the property. The breakfast is fantastic, offering plenty of options for all tastes, and the dining areas are simply breathtaking: from the frescoed hall to the garden, which is literally cinematic (the movie "The English Patient" was filmed right here). Inspired by these stunning views, I chose this beautiful setting to propose to my partner—so this place will forever hold a very special, unforgettable place in our hearts!

We received such a warm welcome, and Esther kindly shared the fascinating history of the building with us, which made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is converted from an old monastery, and the staff are warm and friendly. We arrived early, and one of the staff gave us a tour of the monastery, which has been used as a filming location for movies. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the hotel garden offers stunning views of Tuscany. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends.

It was just amazing to be able to stay in an old monastery, surounded with beautiful gardens, olive trees and tuscany landscape. The staff was excellent, very good food and the room was very nice.

It’s an ideal hotel for those looking for something unique and peaceful in nature. You can experience life in a monastery and feel the medieval atmosphere, with beautiful views all around. The breakfast is quite good, and there’s a large free parking area. I recommend going there only by car.

The monastery is beautiful, there is something magical there, which cannot be explained in words. One night was so little to stay there. Also Valeria was really nice with us.

“A XVI century piece of heaven in the Unesco protected Val d'Orcia”

This is one of the most remarkable places I ever stayed in. The setting is simply heavenly, in the Unesco world heritage Val d'Orcia, close to Pienza. The silence and views are breathtaking. This early XVI century monastery with a beautiful church and cloister are only accessible to guests. This medieval marvel (setting of The English Patient) is simply exceptional. The young lady at the reception couldn't be more friendly and helpful, completing the perfect stay.

Location is awesome. Located on top of a hill. Amazing views of the valley and rolling hills. Breakfast was also amazing with lot of variety and sweet treats to select from. Good sized rooms with lot of history all around. A dream come true for history lovers.
