A wonderful, historic house with attentive management. History and modern standards come together here: we sleep very well, everything you could want for a night's stay is provided, the bathroom is very good, as are the beds. The hosts make sure you get your hot coffee in the evening. And in the morning, they conjure up an excellent breakfast, which we can enjoy in the salon with other guests, with whom you can strike up a casual conversation in this wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately, the immediate surroundings are not entirely quiet. Due to the one-way street system, cars drive past below and above the house, “practically outside your room.” This is not disturbing if you have the windows closed, you just need to be aware of it. It's also great that there is plenty of free parking and you are only a few meters from the sea.

Willow House Inn is a beautiful, old home with lots of character. The owners are very friendly and exemplify hospitality. I really enjoyed breakfast and appreciated the opportunity to share breakfast with other guests at the Inn.

Rooms are updated yet still retain old-world charm, and the rooms are very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and hosts were amazing.

“Welcoming and accommodating”

Very nice house. Brenda and George were very welcoming hosts. Excellent breakfast. We arrived quite late ca. 8pm and Brenda rang round to find us an eating option at the nearby Waterview Restaurant which stayed open beyond its normal closing time.

Breakfast was delicious. Brenda and George very hospitable and helpful. Willow Inn was an excellent place to stay in Pictou on our way to PEI.

“Delightfully charming B&B”

The decor of the entire B&B is exquisite and the room is cozily and charmefully furnished with great attention to details. Bed was huge and one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in (icing on the cake bed linen had a lovely flowery pattern and it smelt awesome). Hosts are great: super friendly and super helpful. They really make you feel welcome. Breakfast was truly delicious, the granola in particular.

Very homely and welcoming B&B. Brenda was super friendly and helpful. Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast, home cooking, and a muffin each to take away which we thought was a nice touch. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 1 x night stay at the Willow House Inn B&B.

Room was beautiful and comfortable. Bathroom excellent, clean. Breakfast was really good, French toast and fruit amazing. Coffee excellent. Hosts very friendly and warm. Very welcoming experience.

Coming from Prince Edward Island and heading to Cape Breton Island we unfortunately only stayed there for one night. The owners made us feel welcome from the first moment and the service and communication was outstanding. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the room spotless clean. The breakfast was awesome. The owners provided good recommendations for restaurants which are in walking distance from the B&B. We can highly recommend the B&B and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful decor in a historic building. Very kind and warm hosts. Delicious breakfast, and we really appreciated the extra little muffins we got to go... Really nice to have an extra snack while traveling! We loved our stay.
