The accommodation was just as described. Clean. Our room had a fantastic view of the cathedral. The breakfast was very good. We were greeted very warmly and kindly. It was also really nice that we were picked up from the central parking lot in Piazza Armerina because of an upcoming church procession (with restrictions to parking near the hotel).

Every room is a mood! We had the “Tradizionale” room with a view to Piazza Duomo. The staff is very attentive and helps with information, reservations, etc. Good breakfast (also with a view) with many options.

Our stay here was two mixed extremes. I had booked a specific room and chose this accommodation largely due to the appeal of this room. It was confirmed numerous times that we would be given this room. Upon arrival that was no the case- 'our room' had been allocated by mistake to someone who paid more for this stay. However, after acknowledging the error, the owner/manager could not have done more. He offered us a free dinner at his restaurant about 400m away, which was enjoyable and kind of him. Still would rather have had the room we'd booked and paid for dinner, but not possible.

This is a real gem of a place. Piazza Armerina is a beautiful town but this hotel is worth a visit in its own right. The welcome was warm and genuine and the ambience and vibe of the hotel is just the same. You feel that you are staying with friends. Do not hesitate to stay here if you are visiting Sicily

It was beautifully designed with lots of fantastic art hung everywhere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Eclectic and quirky decor, uniquely styled rooms. Ettore was so helpful and even gave us a choice of rooms, we chose the traditional Sicilian with an antique four poster bed and the duomo views. Breakfast was delicious with freshly home baked traditional Sicilian cakes a highlight.

UNIQUE! The deluxe room was wonderful, lying in bed looking at the sun on the west face of the Duomo. Breakfast was top quality sitting out on the rooftop terrace listening to vinyl from the bar. Best coffee I've had on trip. AND relaxed in the jacuzzi before dinner.

Location perfect on the Cathedral piazza. (We didn't mind the bell ringing at odd hours). During our stay we caught the end of a music festival, the three-day Norman festival, and the feast of St Maria. All noisy and wonderful! Staff at hotel were SO helpful. We were arrivingoutside of checkin hours so they left a key hidden for us and sent videos on WhatsApp on how to find the hotel entrance, key, and our room. We had to abandon the car on the outskirts of town when we arrived due to traffic restrictions. The next morning Omaima walked with me to the car and guided me back to a carpark just around the corner from the hotel. The owner Ettore got us free tickets to the jousting event. The hotel itself is gorgeous- very small and boutique with lots of art. This was our best stay in Sicily and we were there for several weeks.
