“Charming, authentic, cozy, well-kept! Amazing breakfast and views.”

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The place is incredibly charming, cozy, well-kept, and with a lovely little balcony with a nice view that made waking up there feel special. The whole decoration tells the story of the family's history, which gives the place a very unique and personal atmosphere that you just don't find in a regular hotel. Salvatore is a wonderful host. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. He gave us tons of great tips not just about Piazza Armerina but about other parts of Sicily too, including restaurant recommendations that turned out to be spot on. That kind of local knowledge is honestly priceless when you're traveling. The breakfast deserves its own mention: delicious, with lots of local products and personalized options. The pistacchio cornetto was honestly the best I had in all of Sicily (and Salvatore's capuccino as well!). Salvatore picks the eggs fresh on the day and makes scrambled eggs to order. Such a nice touch. The location is great too. Very easy to reach Piazza Armerina and the Villa Romana del Casale by car. And of course, Marisa the donkey is absolutely adorable and very friendly. We loved getting to interact with her! Clean, organized, full of character. Highly recommend.

the charming owner Salvatore was at hand to answer questions and make helpful suggestions; he prepared the breakfast himself and there was a lot more choice than the typical italian breakfast of coffee and a sweet pastry would offer. we loved his border collie sheepdog Lucky

Truly original and charming property decorated with an artist’s unique style. Lovely owner, very warm welcome and a delicious breakfast. The pool area was wonderful and we loved visiting the animals. The place was very clean in the guest areas.

It was like staying in someone’s home. Although the room did not have a fridge or a glass for water we had use of the kitchen for guests. I liked the quirky decoration of the rooms. We had a very good breakfast laid for us outside. The swimming pool was lovely and it was just a nice relaxing place to be, not forgetting going to see the donkey, goats and chickens. Salvatore was a kind and helpful host.

A 200-year-old fully restored building, decorated with antique objects from the owners’ own family, arranged in a way that blends beautifully with the typically Sicilian atmosphere. What I felt was missing, in my opinion, was a small fridge in the room.

We had an amazing stay! The atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The presence of animals on the property added a charming and relaxing touch. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade honey, which was a real treat. The host gave fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and things to do, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The swimming pool was huge and beautifully maintained, and having on-site parking was a big plus. Short drive to centre. A truly memorable and refreshing escape!

“Very tranquil and relaxing stay”

This Vila is absolutely perfect ! So peaceful and tranquil, the pool is fantastic and the animals and dog made it even more memorable. Perfect place to relax and recharge. The room was spotless bed was very comfortable. Salvador the host is a true gentleman and can’t do enough for you. He’s happy to provide you with all the information that is needed and is happy to help you with recommendations about all areas of Sicily. The town is a 3 minute drive and has excellent restaurants and is very authentic and quaint Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed for longer. A highlight of our trip to Sicily.

The place is a little slice of paradise. Nice, quiet and cozy. And at the same time a very short drive from the town Piazza Armerina. Very interesting sights close by. Would definitely come back!

We were treated so well our entire stay. Even my 10month old was treated like a King to a 5 star breakfast every morning. We also had the use of the kitchen and dining room during our stay so were able to prepare our own lunch and dinner. It really was the perfect home away from home.
