“Generally a great stay but the traffic noise was really the only disappointment”

The beds were really comfortable and the in room HVAC was excellent. Special acknowledgment to Ian who checked us in and was efficient and friendly which we observed later in his dealings with other customers.

The beds and pillows were super comfy and the room was large. It was right on the river so could go for a run in the morning and walk into old town

Amazing hotel. The staff was very polite, professional and attentive to guests’ needs, always ensuring their comfort. The room and common areas were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was sufficiently varied and of good quality. Best of all, the view from the room overlooking the beautiful bridge. Spectacular at night!

“Would stay here again”

The hotel is centrally located to walking around and exploring philadelpha. The check in staff was so lovely and helpful (shame I didn't get his name to give him a mention). The hotel was clean and exactly what we needed for our trip exploring withe the kids. Breakfast was a good breakfast with a selection of cereal fruit pancakes unlimited tea and coffee.

We liked the convenience of the location given our outgoing airplane flight. We especially enjoyed our riverfront view with the lit-up suspension bridge in the distance.

The location.

They are doing renovations of the breakfast area, which is good for future clients, but it had negative impact on our stay. Just three breakfast tables, so chaos was great. Employees of security and reception were just looking around. After complaining they got two more tables. Better but of course still not enough.

“Please avoid”

This stay was extremely disappointing and absolutely not up to the Holiday Inn Express standard. The hotel was under maintenance, and the breakfast room felt like a construction site — workers painting walls and doing repairs while guests were trying to eat. Reception staff were dressed in an unprofessional, almost shabby way, completely undermining the brand’s image. Despite being on one of the top floors, the room was extremely noisy. Traffic from the Benjamin Bridge came straight through the windows, which were clearly not soundproofed at all. At 7 a.m., housekeeping staff were shouting and laughing in the corridor while setting up their carts, waking us up far too early. Breakfast was poor, with limited options, and when items ran out, they simply weren’t replaced. Overall, this was one of the worst Holiday Inn Express experiences I’ve had — noisy, unprofessional, and poorly managed. Definitely not recommended.

However I did check out since from19 may, now it is 17 june and I am still waiting refund of 50$ security deposite.

Good location with nice view

The location is good very close to the old city, the breakfast is property, the staff is nice, and the paid parking lot is available. Overall the conditions are convenient for a trip arrangement.

Ease of arrival from the motorway. The position was excellent to walk around the historic centre and also to a good choice of restaurants.
