“I am never entering this property again”

I’m disappointed to say that my experience at the hotel was not satisfactory. While some aspects of the stay were acceptable, the condition of the washroom was very poor. It was not properly cleaned, and the level of hygiene fell far below what is expected from a resort. Photos do not match in real life.

Very dirty. The smell of damp everywhere. Can't believe this is the same hotel we stayed 4 years ago, was a fantastic hotel before. Obviously there's no maintenance done in hotel, been completely run down. Very poor, would never stay again.

It was not clean at all

Food and beverage service so very very slow and not they did not always get it right. Got charged for full continental breakfast when it wasn’t even available. Had a bottle of water put on our table that had mould in the bottom of it ( and lots). Staff member noticed it when clearing and said nothing Staff had limited English and never got back to us when said they would

The staff were incredible and so friendly. One waiter in the restaurant, I did not catch his name, he suggested what to eat and it was one of our best ever dinner's. Such a beautiful hotel, would recommend to everyone.

“In need of a complete refurbishment”

Ok let me start with my booking through booking.com. Having booked I received a message through the booking.com app from the property to say that my booking was incomplete and to make payment before arriving. I questioned this with the property who were unresponsive straightaway and hence I paid a western union link sent having confirmed the link with booking.com. Upon arriving I was told that this was a scam message !! Which I received from the property via the app. I then had to pay the fee again and left to argue the point with my credit card company !! There is no guarantee I will get this back! Something very strange happening here and it was all done through the property messages via the booking.com app- please do not make any payment before arrival, even if it looks as though the message is from the hotel. Not happy at all as booking.com via a phone call informed me the payment link sent was safe to pay!! The hotel is dated and in need of love. The rooms are average, with some lights not working on arrival and the tvs are a pain to operate. The mattress is ok but the pillows are not hotel standards. No irons in room and you have to request these. The bathrooms need fresh silicone and there were marks all over the bath from dents that looks from tears of use. So no bath for me. Toilet rolls average. Towels average too. The shower in some rooms is overhead only so not great at all. The flies in the corridor and the rooms are an issue and need addressing - every morning there is a staff member trying to kills flies in the year corridor. The service is not great - the manager was good but with most staff you have a communication problem. The staff are not really friendly and it is hard to get things done. Laundry was promised the next day at 9am and was received at 10pm. We had 3 rooms and one suite and we were all not really happy. I think the location is too far out from Jalandhar and the taxis to get anywhere from the hotel provider are very expensive i

Room was not clean enough I can share video or pictures. Second floor was really smelly.3rd floor was good.

On arrival for my four day stay here, I was asked to pay up front, when I questioned this i was told that I could pay when I checked out. My room had no safe, just one hanger, no hair dryer, no iron or ironing board, no USB ports in the room and the hotel were unable to supply a suitable adapter and the shower had no shower curtain during my stay here, despite this being reported to reception. I expected more from this hotel but found it to be average.

My 3rd visit to cabana over the past 4 years and this is now looking extremely tired, it is not clean food choices are limited and they charge international prices, hotels in Phagwara down the road like the grand ambassador and poonam offer so much more value for money and are cleaner. Staff here walk around like robots, and are not flexible when you need support. The night we stayed a wedding function was going on and the room was vibrating from the music and the hotel didn’t offer any reduction to the room rates to apologise. This was once a lovely hotel but unfortunately not any longer

Great hotel - upgraded by reception to a one bed villa - amazing place on a par with the best hotels in the Uk - food slightly pricey for Punjab but expected in a hotel. Staff friendly clean and great location.
