Marie-Claire and Viateur are wonderful hosts, very open and welcoming. I loved my stay there. There is access to a fridge, kettle and microwave so although eating options are scarce in petit Saguenay, there is a supermarket (and gas) close by, so you can prepare meals and heat them up. It is a town of 800 people so very quiet area with quaint quais- wharf (4km drive or walk away) and a beach (and hike to lookout 8km) 15 min drive away. Fjord National Park is 30 mins drive and there are many hike options. Marie Claire shares all the info and has been personally involved in the development of petit Saguenay. They share their home with love and a real desire to connect with others. The bed is very soft (and as someone who prefers very firm) I can tell you it was still very comfortable and you can get an excellent sleep.

The breakfast was excellent and Marie Claire and her husband were perfect hosts! The room was also very comfortable. Our room came with its own entry/exit to outside which we really appreciated as well. Thank you so much!

The cottage is in a beautiful small village surrounded by mountains, Mme Maria- Claire and her husband were very nice, the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was exceptional, I have only good things to remember.
