Overview
Offering free parking and free Wi-Fi, Hotel Giò Jazz Area is a jazz-themed hotel in Perugia, and is just a 5-minute Minimetro ride to the main square. The building features a seasonal rooftop pool, a sun terrace and a gym. The rooms come with a jazz compilation CD and stereo. Rooms at Hotel Giò are spacious and feature a TV and private bathroom. Some rooms feature a spa bath, others have a massage chair. The hotel with jazz-themed decoration boasts a specialised music shop and a music arcade where international jazz concerts are projected. It also has its own auditorium where jazz concerts are held periodically. The tranquil garden has tables and chairs where you can relax. Every evening, Ristorante Enoteca offers an eclectic à la carte menu including regional specialities. Breakfast is buffet style. The Case Bruciate Minimetrò Station is 200 metres away and Perugia Train Station is 800 metres away. The historic centre is easily reached by a 15-minute walk or by bus with buses stopping right outside the hotel. A shuttle to/from the airport is available on request.

Great breakfast. Great sized room with double and twin bed (which appeared to be a complimentary upgrade from standard double booked).

Handy location close to city centre, covered parking. Room was ready before official check-in hours. Biggest surprise: massage chair in the room! Wine shop in the lobby.

“Located below the town ( 150m!) but mini metro two mins away connect you there and back would definitely go back”
Jacuzzis bath huge bedroom with dining area and balcony food was amazing in Michelin star restaurant met some lovely Americans from Boston USA spotlessly clean throughout

“A friendly Bohemian artistic atmosphere with an excellent breakfast”
The staff were friendly and it is located on a 10 minute walk to the mini Metro into the centre of the Historic District. There were many young musicians staying when I was there and it cried a lively and musical Interlude for me on my final morning. The breakfast is also excellent.

The staff were very helpful and spoke a little English. The breakfast was very good but only served between seven and nine so you have to be quick. The best freshly made pies and pastries were eaten between 7 am and 8:15 am! When you arrive, you think you are in the suburbs on the Ring Road but it is only a 10 minute walk from the mini Metro which makes its location very easy to get to the railway station and the centre of the Historic District at Pincetto which is very usefully next to the public Library where you can read English newspapers and the economist magazine in a comfortable chair for as long as you like and use the free municipal Wi-Fi
