“Wow, Beautiful chateau overlooking a castle. We had an amazing time.”
Wow! Step into a fairy tale of a chateau that overlooks a castle. Fantastic indoor pool had a whole afternoon of family fun in there and in the gardens. Host and I tried our best to communicate but both me and my wife being useless at speaking French was just a laugh throughout. Felt rejuvenated after leaving even with parenting and 18month old and a 3 year old. Can only imagine how you'd feel if you didn't live the parenting life!

“A great introduction to our European holiday, allowing us to recover from a very long flight.”
The host was very welcoming and helpful providing hints as to what to see in the local area, which we took up. The house was very nice indeed and very much reflected the french culture we were looking for. The setting next to the old château and farm was also very welcoming. Yes, the weather was very cold. The house offered a very warm place to be at that time of year.

“Just a little out of the ordinary - in a nice way.”
The husband and wife owners/hosts are exceptionally warm and helpful. The chateau is a delight. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished and equipped with plentiful toiletries, bottled water, hair dryer. The wifi was excellent. Continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious with yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange juice and an array of breads, croissants and brioche in an elegant dining room. Plenty of room for parking.

Not much - it seemed to be an elderly couple who was letting out spare rooms to make some spare cash. Very dated interior ( but no decent furniture or antiques - just very ordinary in every way ) There was no mention of the indoor swimming pool and the gardens were unkempt with no flowers! No hot water- it was tepid and meant a very uncomfortable shower . Cheap IKEA beds did not impress us either. This was planned as our special last night in France - instead it ended with great dissatisfaction and disappointment

This is a very well maintained property that is furnished to a very high standard. The host speaks a little English but it helps if you can also speak a little French. The continental breakfast is very much above average.

Very comfortable stay in this beautiful Chateau. Helpful and friendly hosts and a superb breakfast. Good parking and restaurant recommendations near by. Great for one night on our road trip and would recommend.

The current chateau manor house stands in the grounds of a more ancient fortification on a prominent bluff overlooking the village. All very impressive, beautiful well furnished house. Nice garden. Pleasant owners. Fine bathroom. A very pleasant surprise to see it. Well placed for easy access to surrounding area.
