“Excellent small luxury hotel”

Breakfast was excellent. Very healthy!! Room spacious, quiet facility well away from the main tourist sites of Thira and Oia. Beach just across the road, Taxis are easy enough to order and very cheap public transport, €2.40! Only 12 suites so this is a quiet retreat

“Michelin recommends”

I chose this hotel because I really liked the design - a combination of island and modern style. As it turned out, the hotel received a Michelin star this year, which was nice to find out. The breakfasts here are simply incredible, probably the best of all the hotels we have been to. Breakfasts are only a la carte, but you can choose whatever you want without restrictions. They also have options with alternative milk. I was also impressed by the attention to detail, the room had everything you need. It is very convenient that the beach is across the road from the hotel and they have their own area with sunbeds there, you can order food and drinks right to your sunbed. The town itself is small and at the end of August there were not many people, quite calm. Perfect to spend a couple of days by the sea in such a wonderful hotel with a retreat and peaceful vibe

“Perfect”

Superb boutique hotel perfect for a quiet get away. Large room, incredible hotel pool and sandy beach right across the road with loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Amazing breakfasts and cocktails by the pool. Cant recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a beach break away from the crowds in Fira and Ouia. We never had to book a table, lounger or wait for a table. We'll definitely be back.

“Perfect stay in Santorini”

Everything , the perfect hotel size, pool , room and private beach on just a few meters distance. Very very kind staff. Super noce big room, a lot of space for all the guests at the pool and on the beach. If I could take this with me I would visit all greek islands . Thanks to George and his staff.

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful boutique hotel”

Without a doubt of of the best hotels we have stayed at. The room was beautifully designed- fabulous pool area (our room didn’t have a pool, but we didn’t need one!). Hotel is situated opposite black sand beach with luxury sun loungers for guests. The breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order. Throughout our stay the staff were wonderful. They arranged our hotel transfers and jet ski safari. Manos in particular was very helpful and made us feel really welcome at the Istoria. Would really recommend to everyone.

breakfast was amazing. A la carte, but with plenty of surprising gourmet options. Thank god, full English was not on the menu😁. Staff lovely, always friendly and with plenty of tips of what to do around the island. Plenty of private sunbeds at the beach, right across the hotel lobby. Perfectly operating AC, private jacuzzi for each room and a nice pool with a bar at the back. Ask the staff for tips where to dine, you won‘t be disappointed.

The staff were fantastic! So helpful and lovely and made our stay very personable. The breakfast was 10/10 and having the beach and pool within 200m of each other was a lovely touch.

The most creative and delicious breakfast menu we have ever enjoyed, very accomodating and attentive staff, a small but very personal spa and the private beach chairs for the hotel guests as well as the hotel pool rounded up an unforgettable experience.

The hotel, staff, breakfast & location are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are attentive and helpful offering recommendations for trips, restaurants in Firo too. I would book direct with the hotel next time. Pool and beach club amazing, special shout-out to lady on reception & our breakfast waitress, George (hotel manager) and stelios (pool bar man) - thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable. The hotel is a gem right on the beach, which might be the best beach on the island, with its pristine black sand and crystal-clear dark blue water. Breakfast was a highlight as well - an exceptional culinary experience that matched the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. Every meal was a delight, reflecting the hotel’s dedication to quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, taking care of us with such attention and warmth. They really go out of their way to make sure you feel completely relaxed and cared for, which is something we’ll remember for a long time. This is easily one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at, and we can’t wait to come back.

“Enjoyed our stay to the fullest!”

The property was clean, tidy, fancy, stylish, and comfy. Breakfasts were great - we were ordering new meals and drinks from the menu every time. Kudos to the chef! Personnel were really helpful and caring. Spa personnel were pros. Facilities around the hotel. e.g. the pool and the restaurant were also very convenient. Location was perfect and right on the beach. I also enjoyed the pool at the backyard of our room - the water was always warm and clean. Small presents from time to time were also very pleasant to receive!

Ticked every single box. Staff went above and beyond. Slept 12 hours on the most comfortable hotel bed of my life. The breakfast is al a carte & was included (I only wish we stayed longer so I could have tried all the dishes)
